Thank you very much. I don't have a clue if I am over leveled. I am level 21. How can you tell if you are over levelled or not? I was in Aurdion if that makes a difference at level 21. Still learning how to play this game.
Greatly appreciate the quick answers. One more question then. What is the purpose of doing these if you are over levelled? I take it I am not getting experience points either then?
You're over-leveled if you're 5+ levels higher than the enemies that you're fighting. That means you won't get XP, loot (aside from hide scraps from certain types of creatures), or fighters guild XP from any of them.Thank you very much. I don't have a clue if I am over leveled. Of course, after the One Tamriel update (it's October 5th for PC - I can't remember when it is for consoles, but I think it's about 2 weeks later) being over-leveled won't be a concern anymore, as all zones and all enemies will be max-level, and if you're below max-level you'll be scaled up so that you can fight them without getting slaughtered, and all of the loot drops and XP that you get will be scaled to your level..
Limitations of being < level 50:I don't understand the purpose then of levelling if everything is set to max.
Basically it means that you'll be able to go to any zone in any order you like and be able to play there without fear of being over-leveled or under-leveled for the content.Of course, after the One Tamriel update (it's October 5th for PC - I can't remember when it is for consoles, but I think it's about 2 weeks later) being over-leveled won't be a concern anymore, as all zones and all enemies will be max-level, and if you're below max-level you'll be scaled up so that you can fight them without getting slaughtered, and all of the loot drops and XP that you get will be scaled to your level..
I did not know that, thank you very much for that explanation. Everything will be max level and we are scaled up? What is the purpose of that? What is the purpose of scaling then? I don't understand the purpose then of levelling if everything is set to max.
