I'm so sick of stealthily killing someone (for an achievement or fun) with the Blade of Woe, clearly out of sight of all witnesses and still being "seen" and given a bounty because, wait for it, a freaking goat, or a cat, or some other farm animal saw me.
Who exactly is little lassie running and reporting my crime to but still running feverishly all around like a mental case on the loose? I know this because they glow red and start freaking out.
Why is it an instantaneous thing? In Skyrim you had a few seconds to kill the "witness" before they managed to make it somewhere to report the crime. Come on Zenimax get it together. A goat can NOT report a crime. They can get angry and maybe try and headbutt me a few times but come on now...

✭✭✭✭✭It's so annoying , they need to fix that crap . Getting spotted by domestic animals is rediculous . Getting spotted by mudcrabs is rediculous . Common @ZOS_GinaBruno , fix the thief stuff please .
Also the tooltip to find linens and household stuff for quest and everything in the closets , nightstands , trunk and wardrobe is melons and tomatoes ... Is everyone in Tamriel hiding food in their bedrooms ? Silly inconsistencies everywhere .10 -

I don't think players should be capable of raising their bounty to a million. There should be some sort of preventive measure to be taken to stop someonje from killing everyone.
Maybe a 10-30 min nerf that stacks up to 3 or 5 times?
Anything but gold, and disallowing players to interact with NCPs and quest ncps.
Justice system needs major work. Also NCPs need to react to enemies, only the guards will help you attack an enemy. More NCPs need to be like this!Master Debater1 -

old_mufasa✭✭✭✭So odd I have never been spotted by a domesticated animal in the game... and I murder the Elf Noble behind the bank in Vulkel guard all the time in front of her cat... could it be the npc turn and became "aware" the moment you attacked.. I have noticed that if they start to turn they will become aware before they detect you and you can still get off the blade of woe but in there gasp of death will report you... its even worse If the servers are lagging.0

It was. But you could "kill the witness" before they reported it to get no bounty. A feature that is lacking in ESO.1 -

Big actions deserve big consequences. It didn't go from 0 to 1,000,000 in a single cut throat, now did it? No, it did not.
It's not up to Zeni to step in and treat people like children who don't know their actions have consequences. If someone farms a 7 or 8 digit bounty then they chose that. This comic. Oh my god, it's so true. I've gone up to NPCs to stab them with the Blade of Woe and been detected. What, really? There's nobody here. NOBODY. Except the dog following the NPC... which was turned towards me and prevents me from stealing. This happens a lot with Leonhard Pujol in Wayrest. His dog follows behind him, and can spot me. ✭✭Elder Scrolls Justice System logic, kill tens of thousands, even millions of sentient people and goblins, no one bats an eye. Accidentally clip that stray chicken with a practice swing and the entire town goes berserk and tries to kill you.
