I'm playing Skyrim occasioanally, it's heavy modded with gameplay additions so switching to Skyrim Special Edition (remaster) will be a huge gameplay downgrade because it won't support my favorite mods for quite some time, so it's not a threat to ESO in any way possible just in my case

Personally I'm not sure that they can remaster it enough to have me play it seriously anymore.

I have done every quest at least a half dozen times, been leader of all the possible guilds, completed the main quest line, ransacked all of the DLCs, fought through both sides of the civil war, and generally killed and looted my way to fantastic glory.

What more is there?

PS4 can't get mods my computer is 32 bit and works fine with the current skyrim so yeah not getting it. I just hope this isn't going to be a forced update from steam...

It is mainly for console players - they did not have mods on the old hardware and with this edition they will be able to play modded Skyrim on their new consoles.

Besides no SKSE limits mod options the only good non SKSE mods I can think of are Vilja the unofficial patches and other companion mods.

I'll get the remaster for free on PC when it comes out so I'll probably fire it up and play around with it. However, like many of the other posters I've done every quest multiple times over so it probably won't hold my attention for long.

Did you do the Thomas the Tank Engine mod that replaces the dragons with Thomas?

Necro or not, you NEED to experience Morrowind, there was so much to this game that I loved. Underwater exploration made Oblivion & Skyrims underwater discoveries pale in comparison (beware of the slaughterfish and dreugh.) The spellcrafting was amazing, the enchanting was godlike, jump spell, and levitation spells made travel highly entertaining and addicting. I couldn't get into Morrowind on any platform because of the damn diceroll combat...missing a guy that my sword clearly hit turned me off immediately. Thankfully Oblivion did away with that outdated tabletop crap or else I would've never become a TES fan.

Early on, yes but Bethesda is releasing a 64 bit new creation kit to go with the new Skyrim that will be 64 bit, and there will be a 64 bit version of skse(Skyrim script extender) this is going to open some doors for mods that were not possible with the old version of the game. Give it a month or two after launch its going to get better like fine wine

Also I'm not saying one is better then the other with eso there are just aspects the single player games do better and a few aspect eso does well because it's an mmo.

It's going to a flavor change for me for awhile that's all. I'll still play eso but won't feel so compelled to grind for awhile, this will be a good break from that here and there

Skywind is going nowhere really. I check the page every single day without fail and it's just the same few people posting the odd armour design and occasional artifact. I don't see the game being released soon.

On topic, I haven't played ESO in what feels like over a year, I want to get back into the game but for some reason the initial pull isn't there anymore. I plan on playing Skyrim remastered, I never did actually complete the main story!

Its a whole new Skyrim pretty much. Its fully voice acted has an insanely engrossing system, it would put many Triple AAA game titles to shame....try it if you don't believe me its phenomenal...probably 300-400 hours worth of content there easily.

Skyrim is getting a remaster?

I started tes with skyrim got it on PS3 looked fantastic but played like a buggy lump of shxt
I hope it is going to play better and not just look better

Since there wasn't an "other" option, I didn't vote. I'm currently playing Skyrim, very few mods, all DLC. I'll still pop in on ESO, maybe even play if there's someone to play with, but that whole crown crate thing really turned me off. When the Witch's Festival comes out, we'll see how that goes. Once the "enhanced" Skyrim is out, and the mods I use are functional with it, I'll try that out.
