I play on the EU PS4 servers and in Mournhold, one of the prime spots, there's a guild with a handful of items that has snared one of the traders. Add to that, the handful of items being sold are waaaaaaaaaaay overpriced. They're basically low level armour pieces we all find in-game every few minutes. Maybe they've upped their stock since the last time I checked, but why would they waste their gold bidding for such a trader to just sell pieces of junk for around 35k etc?

Do they have the Nirnhoned trait?

Even low-level Nirnhoned stuff is worth a lot for research purposes.

Oddly enough, even in Prime Locations, Guild Kiosks get no bid for some weeks. A rather small social guild I am in procured a Kiosk in Rawkla for 100 Gold a few weeks ago because we found one no one bid on. This week the main trading guild I am in got one in Mournhold cheap. So, it happens.

Also, there are some people who are rich and just want to get a trader once in a while even if they don't have much to sell.

Here's an example or 2, a white Dwarven sword, with no traits - 1.8k A nord motif book - 5k and 130 Orchalcum ingots - 10.5k . They have 3 other items all vastly over priced.

a few different things could of happened
    • for some reason no body bid on the prime trader & someone with no concept of cost (**pricing of items) paid 100g for said trader
    • someone who is not very business minded bought the trader at standard going rate & is desperatley trying to recoup their costs
    • a trading guild bought the trader so as to prevent a rival trading guild from aquiring the slot & all the listings are troll listings
    • something to do with selling in game currency (i dont understand this well enough to even fathom how/why)

There are also some Guilds who have a Kiosk and will bid on another one just to drive out a competitor, even though they have no intentions of really selling any thing. You will find they don't keep the extra kiosk all that long.
