Where the heck are all the Nirncruxes??????

So I have farmed all over Craglorn. I pick every node I come across. I have defeated hundreds of welwas. I have farmed the delves and trials. Many painstaking hours invested. Nope nada.

So what gives?

You need to perform a ritual at a craglorn mine involving a troll, a goat, a mudcrab and some scooma... if RnGeebus is please he may occasionally grant you some nirn

I've started farming them again and I got 3 in little over 1 hour today. Drop rates are the same as they used to be I think. It just sucks that half the nodes are gone in upper craglorn

Oh and you should pray to Nocturnal, the daedric prince of luck, to get that extra rng in your favor

Try Rezoning. That can reset the RNG factor. Both good and bad.

I have noticed that up there, like most zones, sometimes I get a good amount of Nirn, sometimes I can hit the entire zone and nothing. But on the times when I have gotten 2 or 3 Nirns out a rather small area, if I left the zone and came back, nothing. So, it may work the other way around.

However it is still around a 1% chance, so a small chance no matter what. After I learned Nirn on my Master Crafter and they Nerfed it, I stopped looking for these things.

Nirn only good for research now anyways.

Not sure why they added nirn into vma right after they nerf it, this makes me especially mad since I keep getting damn nirnhoned weapons.

Woohoo!! I finally found 1 nirncrux after 3 months of farming and many many hours. Thank the RNG Dieties.

Last week, I did 7 Craglorn surveys in a row without a Nirncrux, then on the eighth, I got four of them, including two from the same node. You'll see similar things commonly with Gold Tempers and Perfect Roe.

About three weeks ago, I was farming Dolmen generals. I did 22 Anchors in a row without a general, then I got five in the next 10-ish Anchors, the exact same general each time, then another 20 Anchors without a general.

The RNG in this game seems really tremendously prone to forming patterns. If you find yourself in a bad one, I suggest doing something else for a while.
