It has been yet another month so I present to you another thread about how you broke the targeting mechanic of rapid regeneration / mutagen. It has now been over 100 days since it was broken.
If you are unaware of what was wrong with it, in short, it no longer intelligently picks targets. It sometimes only hits a single player, instead of two. It does not refresh itself on targets that have less duration remaining. Sometimes, it takes me as many as ten casts to actually hit all three other group members.

✭✭lol lagged me up too, but I agree to this completely... I had to cast Mutagen about 10x the other night to hit the person in dungeon who was actually damaged... felt stupid for using this ability.love is love4 -

fastolfv_ESO✭✭✭✭✭buddy there are still bugs from beta, thieves guild caused 90 bugs just in cyro and so far 1 is fixed, give it 12-24 months then bring it up again cause its not gonna be fixed any time soon0 -

I like to be more optimistic.
Give it 6 months and try again. They will tell you, the first response was a mistake and it was infact a bug. Regen was never suppose to smart target.0 -

✭✭✭It only goes wonky if you try to cast it while all nearby allies are currently effected by it. If you wait until everyone's Regeneration buffs wear off it will behave. This is still unacceptable though. JungleBoot✭✭✭I thought there was something weird happening when I starting playing a Templar with a resto staff on the back bar. It never seemed to target players that needs the heal the most. At best its just random targeting with no rhyme or reason to it.

✭✭This affects other healing skills, too. I've had Breath of Life not hit somebody who was low on health skip over them because these skills seem to get fixated on healing the same people over and over. I've had 10+ Rapid Regens hit the same people in a row and not affect the 3rd or 4th guy. It's ridiculous.2 -
herpnderpidusSoul Shrivenive noticed this effecting nb funnel health as well, but due to the fact of how much you tend to spam funnel health as a magic nb its not as annoying, that being said i took mutagen off my bar, too frustrating. what ive noticed is that it reliably will not target anyone thats damaged, but it does refresh the duration appropriately most of the time, just the target has to be full health. So if you really are attatched to regeneration, heal them up to full with something else, then cast it, it wont target correctly until they are at full health. way too annoying to be practicle imo0

✭✭✭✭✭It is SO annoying! My healer doesn't use it anymore. I only use it for solo play on other characters.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.0 -

Hookgrin✭✭✭I was in group with the wife the other night, bored waiting for a dolmen to start, figured I would pester her with some shards and heals. The first cast of Mutagen went to myself and some random guy in the crowd. The second cast went to that same guy and some other one. Then after that every cast went to that first guy. I could not hit the only person I was in group with. I tried moving closer to her and at some point she moves so I try to stay close, never was able to hit her with the cast. This is out of combat of course. I saved the video for ZOS to look at if they are in denial...

herpnderpidusSoul Shrivenit would be nice if they atleast acknowledged the issue exists. i talked to a dude from customer support and he basically just said sorry, and all i can do is wait for it to get fixed in a patch. the fact that this issue isnt even new, and zos hasnt to my knowledge said anything on it or listed it anywhere is worrying0
