Imperial City DLC (An extremely *** poor DLC)

This is by far the worst piece of garbage I've ever seen. This is just so bad, that words cannot even describe it.

It's bad enough that you get stuck after you jump down, but to make matters worse, after running to get away from enemies so you don't get killed, I see an enemy that shows as 160 and have no clue what that even means as far as level or whatever. It was never explained how to gauge your level to an enemies. So I have no idea if an enemy is going to be too tough for me to handle.

But the worst part is there is no way to know how to get back to your base from these maps...It is 100% impossible to look at the sewer map and know where you need to go and now I'm stuck because I have no idea what exits lead to where and how close those exits are to my base.

I forgot to mention that the problem becomes even more complex after I get killed by a mob, then I spawn somewhere else and I don't know if it was on the same map, or it's now on a different map.

It's the content I enjoy the most.
If you want to farm you have to take your own risks... Or just buy the item that ports you back at the base.

I didn't understand the part on the lv160 thing, though.

Pay attention to the part of your sentence that I have made Bold text.

It says "Now". Meaning at the present time or moment.

No need for more name calling that didn't work out well for you last time.

160 means they are champion 160 rank enemies. This is the same across all DLCs currently and will be the same across the entire playable game next month with the next Update. If you are CP150 or less, the game scales you to 150. Target difficulty will be determined by what kind of mob it is. Regular, elite, boss, etc. The health bar will clue you in.
But the worst part is there is no way to know how to get back to your base from these maps...It is 100% impossible to look at the sewer map and know where you need to go and now I'm stuck because I have no idea what exits lead to where and how close those exits are to my base.
The map 100% works exactly like any other map in the game. Open map when standing at base. Notice where you are. Run away. Some time later you look at the map again and plot what course you will take to return to the spot you started.

Additionally EP/DC/AD bases are always in the same location on the map, so lucky for us, that helps quite a bit.

In IC areas, you are scaled up to the same level as the mobs, it's true the level indicator on the mobs means nothing, which is why it is being removed next update. The same level scaling will apply in every zone with the next update.

EDIT: I am not a massive fan of IC simply because I prefer pure PvE content over PvP or PvP/PvE mix, but that doesn't mean IC is bad - and the areas that do let it down slightly IMO bear no relation to your complaints.

    I loved IC though.
This is by far the worst piece of garbage I've ever seen. This is just so bad, that words cannot even describe it.

This has nothing to do with IC DLC. This is in the entire game. 160 means the enemy is 160 CP (champion points). But said... this had NOTHING to do with the DLC
But the worst part is there is no way to know how to get back to your base from these maps...It is 100% impossible to look at the sewer map and know where you need to go and now I'm stuck because I have no idea what exits lead to where and how close those exits are to my base.

It is not that hard to remember. There are, I believe, 6 sewers in the IC itself. 2 lead to EP territory, 2 to AD and 2 go to DC. If you cannot memorize this how can you remember how to log in the game.
I forgot to mention that the problem becomes even more complex after I get killed by a mob, then I spawn somewhere else and I don't know if it was on the same map, or it's now on a different map

If you die in the sewers, you always spawn in your home base.
If you die in the IC, you spawn in that district (temple, elven gardens etc.) save spot for your alliance. There is one save spot (with a daily quest) per district per alliance. Those are the same save spots you go to when you use the ladders to each district from you sewer's home base.

Also when googling there are more then 1 maps to look at.

The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

And your inability and delusions that think this map has some form of navigation makes you just as much of an idiot as Tia413.

I'm become stuck wandering around in the sewers, with no way to get back to my base, and I'm constantly getting killed because I have no way to know if the enemy is too hard for my level., it is impossible to tell what exits in the sewers go to what place...The name of the area doesn't explain WHERE on the map that area is. For all I know the gardens district is on the complete opposite side of where my base is with no way to tell what sewer you are going to wind up, and which section of that sewer you are going to arrive in if you go down one of the sewer grates

I was going to reply to them to look at their map when in the sewers, which clearly show exits and doors that lead to other parts of the sewers. I was going to say that it took me less than an hour playing IC during the recent event to remember which districts to go to in order to go down the ladder into "my" part of the sewers. And that if I ended up entering the sewers in the wrong place, that it was not a disaster, it was a chance for exploration.

But yes you are right. For some people their glass is always half empty.

I'm going to have to have someone on ZoS teleport me back to my base.

Navigation in these sewers is 100% impossible. An exit on the edge of the map doesn't mean you won't wind up in the middle of a district upon exist. The sewer maps and the District maps are not symmetrical in the slightest.

It has been impossible for me to get back to my home base

Do you even realize how stupid you sound? I can read this map. I know exactly where each sewer grate will take me and can navigate the sewers and districts with ease. Most people do. I have never heard this complaint before. You are the only one I've ever known who doesn't know how to use a map. And yet you call others stupid...

Oh, and the mobs. Lol. They are so easy now. Even the bosses are soloable. The guys with flags on their back are the only challenge left in the IC. If you dying to mobs in IC you are a truly awful player.

This whole thread is pointless. L2P.

Apparently the OP's map doesn't have a YOU ARE HERE marker, and/or they can't read, so how they got from one of the Cyrodiil gates to IC... yeah Tas... that's a conundrum for sure.

I think you are in a minority of one here if you can't work it out. Honestly.
So you ended up in the wrong part of the sewers? Who gives a brass monkeys? Just walk back through the sewers to where you want to be. If you get killed by an enemy player, you can immediately respawn at your home base, so what on earth is your problem? Yes it costs you some fictional in game currency if you get killed, but it's not the end of the world.

Saying that you want ZOS to teleport you back to your home base sounds absolutely pathetic, just WALK back. If you meet an enemy player, fight them - if you win you win, if you lose you lose. Wanting ZOS to port you back makes you sound really sad.

When in the sewer and killed by a npc mob, you can choose to revive where you are using a soul gem, or choose to revive at your base. If you are killed by another player, you revive at your base. You can also use the command /stuck once an hour and it will port you back to base. Using /stuck will cost gold (150 depending on level) and a % of televar stones.

If you are on PC, the hotkey for the map is "M", when on the map, you can scroll out and right click on the map, and it takes you to the next level of the map (if there is one). When on the map, you can mouse over discovered areas, and it will tell what it is, For example, if you are in the sewer and mouse over a sewer grate, it will say where that grate leads to (i.e. Arena).

I'm sure console has a similar map layout, but I don't play on console so I don't know the specifics.

do you know what alliance you are? find your alliance base & run towards it!

re i dont know which enemies im supposed to attack, because i dont know which ones are my level. all the enemies in the sewers are your level - because you have been scaled up to their level.

if you keep dying it is not because the sewers is a bad DLC it is because... well... how to put this...
considering you only started playing a week ago, maybe you shouldnt be running around a PvP/PvE area by yourself.
maybe go to your base & find a group of people who are doing a run!
