is honor the dead/bol ignoring los again? @Wrobel @ZOS_GinaBruno

    It's pretty sketchy. Got healed through doors just recently, but rocks and trees still mess up with it.

    Buggy code tbh. It's not like they can do ray tracing for every character around you every time you cast a smart heal, so whatever workaround they're using to decide line of sight is messed up.

    Same with getting Radiant Destruction through rocks and stuff. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes the rock is transparent.

    Well it works fine on healing ward. Our templar in grp can just spam the living hell out of honor the dead which will ignore keepwalls, trees, tents, palisades, towerwalls, tower and keep floors, tower and keep doors, rocks etc pp.

    When i try to use healing ward on the other hand los is working correctly - so why would that be? Why is one spell working as intended while the other chooses to ignore the restriction placed upon it a few patches ago?

    Maybe HoD didn't get the same nerf as BoL. When using BoL, I regularly have people die because they are standing on a little rock or a slight incline.

    I'd say make a vid out of it showing it ignores LoS, ZOS will be much more likely to follow up if there's video proof. I did experience the same issue.

    same reason dark flare can curve ball and dizzying swing can cut through tree's.. it is what it is.
    Maybe it is an issue, can't say I've noticed. It could just be the difference in action / result between clients

    Perhaps it's just some specific walls not doing the LoS check. Where did it happen?

    We checked again yesterday in pvp. It´s honor the dead which ignores los completely. Just go into any tower and spam heals to heal allies outside.

    Ah, interesting. I do use Honor the Dead actually, so if it is ignoring LoS I'd like it fixed

    Yeah better not point out obviously not working as intended mechanics and abuse them as long as possible. This community makes me sad sometimes. :weary:

    Lol as I said, I use HtD but I never even realised it was ignoring LoS. Not everyone really notices it because it's healing people not exactly visible to the person casting it.

    Lol as I said, I use HtD but I never even realised it was ignoring LoS. Not everyone really notices it because it's healing people not exactly visible to the person casting it.

    Also most players aren't using this in huge groups. I use it and most of the time I'm using it solo or with my 3 man group when I'm at low health to gain resources/health back. And I'm never lost in LOS to my teammates.
