Stamina Sorcerer PVE Build?

I'm a reguard stamina sorcerer, and I am looking for an all round good weapon damage build of which is sustainable.

Currently I do not have any Maelstrom weapons so this build will probably be to try and complete VMSA.

What sets ETC should I go for?

I also heard DW is better than 2H now, true?

Last question is does surge stack with momentum?

Sets you want are Vicious Serpent, Night Mothers Gaze and Velidreth. Try and get 2 pieces of Vicious Serpent armour and 3x jewelry, Velidreth Head+Shoulders naturally, and craft rest of armor in NMG and the 2x daggers and 1 bow of NMG since you don't have vma weapons.

DW is better than 2H, as i explained in your other post

Crit Surge will not stack with Momentum/Rally.

Hunding's/twice born star 5 piece
Night mother's gaze 4 piece
Agility jewellery

Build I first did with maelstrom with and a lot of hard vet content with.

As for OP - yeah Vicious you want to get man. The jewelry especially, and it will most likely be a farm to get. Try get in groups with guild or friends if possible to have higher chance of getting them through trade. Also stack up on all other pieces aswell - starting next patch you can get jewelry for all droppable sets - so for example essence thief. VO is amazing for maelstrom arena tho and from that POV is the best set in the game overall.

Velidreth drops from Cradle of shadows (helm drops from regular aswell) incase you didnt know.
