Are @UserID name change tokens coming to the Crown store?

Now that ZOS doesn't allow @UserID name changes anymore, something that has been allowed for the last 2.5 years, are we going to see name change tokens available for purchase in the Crown Store?

For those who did not know, ZOS used to allow players to create a support ticket to change their @UserID. This has been policy since 2014. As of the patch with the character name change tokens, this policy has changed and you may no longer request to have your UserID changed. This is referring to the In game @UserID, not the forum ID.

This only reason I can see for this policy change is because account name changes are going to be monetized.

Does anyone know, are UserID name change tokens coming to the Crown store?

Please no. It would be an easy out for people that are griefing others to change their name to avoid being reported for unsocial behaviour.

Not if there's a high price attached to the id change. About the only aspect i don't mind devs and console manufacturers charging through the nose for. 5500cr price attached to it would stop many people from simply doing what you stated.

Exactly my point, mate. Would stop people trolling, then hiding behind a name change every day or two. MS I think charge around £10. Stops people doing it every time they get caught cheating, reported and just generally acting like ***. Not against a 1 time name change, an amnesty of sorts, but it should only be done when you really want to change your id. Maybe 5500cr is too harsh, when even 3000cr would be enough to put people off.

The UserID change was free and done for anyone who requested it up until a month ago, so this could have already been the case, but they did not announce or explain this policy change so we don't actually know why its not allowed anymore.

My guess is because they want to monetize it. Personally I hope they do, so I can change my user name.

On the eso live this was mentioned... @ZOS_JessicaFolsom (I believe) said user IDs have always and still will be on a case by case basis. So I imagine... Changing it just because is probably a no. Changing it because it's your real name and didn't realize it would be viewable in game? Probably a yes.

Has this changed Jessica?

I would pay for a change, and I want to change it badly.
Or at least they could give us one change per year (like it is in Rockstar Games Social Club for example) or even one last change since not everyone knew when new rules regarding userID changes were added.
