Damage of time effects and weapon swapping

Say I cast a damage over time skill like Hurricane (or poison injection/blood craze/whatever) with an ability bar with 75% crit and swap to my other bar with 50% crit. Will the damage over time continue to crit at a 75% clip or will it reduce to 50%? My natural assumption was that dots crit at whatever rate your current crit is at regardless of what bar you cast it on, but I'm pretty sure dots don't decrease in damage if cast on a high dmg bar and you swap to a lower dmg one, so I'm not sure anymore.

This basically answers it but I'm getting a bit of conflicting numbers from my own tests. The strength of my Vigor heals does not go up and neither does the strength of my quick cloak go up when casting on a lower weapon power bar and swapping to a higher weapon power bar. The crit values definitely does change however when casting these abilities and swapping to a bar with more/less crit.

From my own personal experience I find that an active DoT or HoT WILL work a bit differently in terms of numbers and criticals depending on the stats of your skill bars. For example, if you use Soul Trap on a bar that has 5pc Oblivion's Foe and then swap to your other bar that does not have the 5pc bonus then that bonus will not apply when the damage ticks. Same case with various other ground target/DoT/HoT abilities. If you notice no difference then it is likely your bars HAVE no difference in relevant stats.
