Losing health when bar swapping

Yo, what's up all? OK, so this is kind of weird and I have no idea what's going on. I'm running S+B 2pc endurance on both bars, but when I weapon swap to the back bar, I'm losing 3k health. I knowit's around 3k, because when I heal it usually heals me for that amount every single time I swap.
My stats are exactly the same on both bars, because I find it annoying when numbers change. Any one know what could be causing this? I'm at a total loss.

Cheers!

Do you have skills that increase health that are not slotted on both bars?, entropy?, or are you NB and have shadow skill not slotted on both bars?

While swapping, you lose the set bonus on the first weapon set, and then gain the set bonus of the second weapon set.

The game does not replace one with the other, it removes one, then adds the other. And after the removal, your max HP drops because you do not get the endurance bonus. After the swap completes, your max HP is increased back to where it was, but not your current HP, which is equal to what you had a split second ago without the endurance bonus.

Visually it looks like swapping damages your health (by the amount that the endurance set provides).

Thanks for the info, that actually makes sense when you describe it like that. I guess I found it confusing because my health bar would drop and I could actually heal myself

Naw I didn't have it on my bar at the time. I think it was down to what Sharee mentioned

    Jep

Same happens for example with Necropotence, when you have a Necropotence weapon slotted on both bars.
IF the max Magicka pool is the same for your two bars:
You lose 4k Magicka when you swap while your Magicka pool is full.

    However
When your actual Magicka pool is more than 4k lower than your max Magicka pool, you do NOT lose Magicka when you swap.
    Same applies to Health.

"I still do not understand why I followed the advice of Captain Rana to bring the villagers of Bleakrock into safety. We should have fought for our village and not have backed down, with our tail between our legs. Now my home village is in shambles, the houses burning, the invaders feasting.I swear every day to Shor that after Molag Bal has been defeated, I will hunt down the invaders and restore peace in Bleakrock and drink my mead with my friends at the market place".PC-EU

Yas, while I understand why it does it now, it would be nice if it just didn't happen to avoid confusion in future. Then again, it means I can proc transmutation at will.. so I dunno.

One thing I WOULD like to see when stats change because of bar swaping is no delay time for regen.

If I have 18k health on one bar, and 16k health on the other, and I switch bars,.. i don't want my 18k bar to start at 16k and have to regen to 18k...it should just instantly go to 18k...

    Anyone with me on this?

I'm not entirely sure that would be a good idea to be honest. It makes sense that if you actually lose health you need to recover it. I feel your pain though, especially if you're a Vampire.

There are many sets where this is happening most notably Ebon and Worm not applying their buffs when you swap bars when using weapons and shields from those sets. That junk Armor Master set dips 5% when you swap bars if using A.M. weapons. I have sent many tickets on the subject but I am sure they go into a trash bin.

Get damaged while on your 16K bar. Swap to 18K bar, get HP back. Repeat until fully healed.

That's not correct, i use TBS destro staves (fire, lighting) on my magDK and the 2nd mundus stays. Its clearly inconsistent with the resource changes when swapping bars.

@ZOS_RichLambert @Wrobel guys I don't know who is in charge of this stuff, but it really does need fixing. I keep getting healing wards cast by 19-20k HP mag sorcs and nightblades when I have 55k health and 10k+ blazing shield. But it detects some health missing and the ward is like THAT GUY NEEDS HELP, so gives it to me instead.
This is a pretty big problem.

You suffer from chronic barswapitis, as does every other player above level 15.

When you swap bars, there is a brief moment where your set items are negligible.

This means you lose those set items for 1/2 a second. (if youre a tank it can get you killed if timed badly). Your health bar drops for the second, losing the buff, then comes back up, gaining it.
