question for the EP players

do you guys have problems logging in if your character is in mournhold? I have tried to log in to that char multiple times but it sends me back to the home screen. but on my other char I was able to log in right away. TIA

In the past i had issues logging into high population areas if my internet speed dropped too much, maybe this is happening in your case? I fixed my problem by changing ISP's.
Try doing a speed test at the times when you have issues.

I dont think thats the problem. my internet speed is roughly 27 mbps. and my ISP has been pretty good

Sometimes. It is the same type of crashing that you can get in Cyrodiil and is honestly one of my biggest concerns about One Tamriel. The lag in EP Mournhold is worse than that in Cyrodiil at times. Opening more of the map up to lower level players might make it better, but I'm concerned that as the single biggest trade hub it may just become completely unplayable when DC and AD are also in the zone.

The only way for me to fix this was to delete my memory cache. The sucky thing about that was all of my settings was saved in that cache so I had to go back and reset everything how I liked it.

Mournhold is usually very VERY full of people.. That might be the reason. I never take a wayshrine there during peak hours, that's just mad.

If it's during primetime and I'm having issues zoning into Mournhold I'll go to Shad Astula and parkour my way down. Obviously isn't very helpful if you're trying to log in, but if that's the case then I've gone and collected skyshards or whatever on an alt until I think it's safe. It hasn't happened too often recently, though.

A while back I accidentally logged out while in Mournhold. I tried to log back in the next day around 7pm EST and couldn't log in. I tried 20+ times and was unable to get in that night. I will never make the mistake of logging out in Mournhold again lol

on PS4 scourge campaign last night - there was a zerg of maybe 350 - 500 blues attempting to push past a group of 15 EP players - my PS4 did one of those rare lock-ups with out a blue screen and now my character cant be found.

zos would have to confirm, but i think that's a 5 piece set bonus on some really rare armor that drops.

Yes. I have this issue for a long time. The root cause is probably population numbers in that cell, and the server capacity. There's a fixed number of players that can be in one area at a given time. Basically the same issue as trying to port to a crowded keep in Cyrodiil. There are usually a lot of players since the shrine is surrounded by guild kiosks and crafting stations and the undaunted enclave is very close too. One workaround is to not port to Nournhold wayshrine. Simply port to one of the closer ones and ride into town. And don't park characters there because it will sometimes be a pain to relog them.
