Searchable achievements?

Would it be possible to get a way to search achievements in the future?

It would be super helpful for someone like me who wants to see which items of a specific crafting motif I've learned, for example. Right now, if I don't remember which DLC the motif is filed under, it can take forever to find it.

You don't have eidetic memory yet? (quest reward ingame) It's easy to find with that.

Can you link the relevant entry in chat with eidetic memory? If that's possible, then I'll do that.

Just checked, yes you can =)

You can filter the achievements to only show ones you don't have, that can speed things up.

Personally I've gone old school and have used pen and paper to draw a table up for all the motifs

I support a search function for achievements.

I'd say that the further along we progress in ESO's lifespan, the more merit this idea has. Prior to having DLCs, it was very easy to locate achievements, partially because there weren't as many to sift through, but also because the organization of achievements was logically structured.

With the release of DLCs, the way things are categorized changed (as mentioned in the OP), where some things are listed in the corresponding DLC section in the achievements log, and others are listed in "General" or "Crafting," etc. Generally speaking, anything from a DLC is found in the appropriate DLC sub-category, so it's not always difficult to find the right section, at least. But when a DLC may come with 30 achievements, and all of them are bundled together (regardless of whether it is a crafting achievement, or vet dungeon, etc.), it can be difficult to find specific items in the list. Having non-standard naming conventions doesn't help, either (such as a no-death achievement being labeled as "Unbowed" in Mazzatun, where the term "Unbowed" is not something a rational player would intuitively come up with, without first locating and committing its name to memory).
