Skill line costume?

There is a robe available if you advance in the dark brotherhood quest line

If you gain this costume with one character will it be available to all other characters on your account even though they did not advance in the the same quest line?

Yes. It is the same with the costume you get with the Thieves Guild content.

I kinda wish you could get the old blacksmith and cook costumes through crafting achievements...

Of course, I also wish they would replace all the disguises with costumes upon completion of the quest the disguises are used for.

I'm with you - I'd love to convert all those disguises to costumes - so much fun. I still pull out a couple. Imagine if we could dye them and really make them our own.
