Quick question on Valkyn Skoria's set

Hey everyone
Will Velocious curse proc Valkyn Skoria's set?
For the set it says that any damage over time damage will have a 6% chance to call a meteor...
So is Velocious curse considered as damage over time damage?
And also what about Lightning Flood, it is surely damage over time spell, right?

Sorc abilities that proc Skoria: Suppression Field, Storm Atronach (their single target attack is technically a DoT), and Lightning Splash. If you run a Destruction Staff you have more Damage over Time abilities added in. All really depends on your build.
Yes I do run a destruction staff, does it have any DOT abilities?
And btw is it better to use the Skoria's set for templar, cuz as far as I am concerned Bitting Jabs is damage over time spell, or not?

Destructive Touch and Elemental Ring both inflict Damage over Time. And yes Templars have good abilities that go well with just about any offensive build that are Damage over Time, namely Puncturing Sweeps/Biting Jabs and Radiant Destruction, not to mention Sun Fire. But i believe there will be a better set for a dps sorc in the one tamriel update, the one that proc's meteor showers.PS4 EU DC

Because zos logic that's why.
Damage with a delay, is technically a dot, just the first few ticks are all 0, trouble is this meant that while curse falls into that category and used to get buffed by Thaumaturge it was a bit OP so i think they changed it. As for streak who knows, same as dark flare proccing it on templar lolPS4 EU CP900. PS4 NA CP600,

bigted209✭✭✭I want to say delayed skills may still proc it. I run a magDK with skoria and I'm thinking I've had it proc from deep breath which isn't a DOT per se, just a delayed skill. Then again, I've normally got 3-5 DOTs on a target at any given time, so perhaps I'm full of it as well

Pretty sure you're mistaken. On my Mag Temp I run Blockade of Elements, Circle of Retribution, Puncturing Sweeps, Reflective Light, Blazing Spear, Radiant Oppression and Devouring Swarm and between all of them Skoria procs again and again as soon as the cooldown allows it, so just about every five seconds. With only a 6% chance I doubt that would be the case if they didn't stack.

✭✭I would never use Skoria on a Mag Sorc since main damage ability for me is force pulse. Works far better on for example a Mag Temp or Mag DK. Would probably be a DPS loss for you
Nerien'eth would be better, and Molag Kena best. Haven't tried new sets in One Tamriel. EU PC0 -
