✭✭I don't understand why she sells monster shoulders except for PVPers to get the impenetrable trait. The change in chest rewards has increased the chances of you getting shoulders for silver and gold keys, so I think she should only be selling helms.
Not being a big PVP person, unless everyone needs to run impenetrable on every piece, surely you can buy or make the impen pieces you need and settle for the shoulder not being impen. I would like to have a better chance of getting the top end monster helms from the vendor as I have a bank full of shoulder pieces.Australian on PS4 NA server.

✭✭✭✭✭Well from my perspective every day vendor would be awesome as I cant play on weekends at all (work/studies/gf) and I simply dont like running PvE over and over and over again... I know that some may not like PvP to but they have to do it, as its they only way to get certain skills but there is a difference when you know in the end you will get it as each step take you closer to your goal, but we are forced to do something we dont like, depends on luck, and as for now never wont give us what we want as there is no impen in loot table.Edited by Mayrael on September 20, 2016 6:23AMI'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.1 -

An afternoon and a lot of luck. Nearly everyone who uses Skoria in PVP wants Impen and we're still waiting for the shoulders to show up and have been for months now.

John_1999✭✭✭next patch there will be 28 Monster sets available (shoulder and helmet) = 56 Items.
If there is a cycle for the items, I mean all items, shoulder and helmet will come once, before the cycles restart, you have to wait 56 weeks (worst case) to get your item with impen.
56 Weeks is more than one year. With all the new monster sets, PVP-Players are forced to do PVE again, or do you want to wait more than one year to get your item?
They need to change the vendor.

jeremiah911✭✭✭I would really like to see a change to the gold vendor. I've been playing everyday for 6 months and haven't gotten a Skoria shoulder from a chest nor have I seen it in the gold vendor. People don't quit games or stop running content because they get the items they want; they quit because they're up against bad RNG and feel their efforts show no reward. At least that's how I feel over these last 6 months.2 -

Shoulder pieces will not be simple. 12 sets in a chest * 3 weights * 8 traits = 288 possibilities. So every key will have a 287/288 chance of not being the exact item you want. If you use 288 keys, there is still a 36.7% chance ((287/288) ^ 288) of not getting the exact item you are looking for. After 288 keys, more than 1 out of 3 players will still not have what they want. This applies to PvE players looking for Divines and PvP players looking for Impenetrable.
This is certainly better than putting all sets in one chest, but it is still going to be a long, miserable grind.
This is somewhat mitigated by the 3 pledges per day, but that is time-consuming. Most PvE players want these monster pieces for Trials. Most PvP players want these monster piece sets for dueling and Cyrodiil. But now we are going to have to slog through hundreds and hundreds of pledges and low chance RNG to get the items we want. Which means hundreds and hundreds of hours of not playing our preferred content.3 -

I propose either leaving it as it is, but having 2 monster pieces up on the weekend, or having it change every 2-3 days to give people a chance to get them.

Why AP only? Most MMO players (the middle M standing for multiplayer) don't want to run maelstrom either. On top of that, sets such as black rose should sell for gold so PvE players don't have to farm PvP zones day after day in order to have a random chance to get the piece of armor they want. Kinda goes both ways doesn't it?0 -

Right, but other traits can be used in PVP. It is also arguably BIS for PVP and can be bought from a vendor for an afternoon of AP farming. What is the best trait in PVE? Divines, no question. How do get, for example, a Divines Velidreth shoulder in medium? RNG baby. I have over 200 monster pieces (none from the vendor), and still dont have half the pieces I want in the right weight or trait.
Point is, it is much harder to get BIS shoudlers for PVE than it is for PVP. People (myself included) love to rage about VMA RNG, but the honest truth is that monster shoulder RNG is by far the worst. The obvious difference is that a trait on one piece of armor is not nearly as important as the trait on your weapon.0 -

✭✭A couple weeks ago there was a technical issue that resulted in double the number of different sets being available. That seemed to be just about right. Would be perfect if going forward every weekend the Golden vendor offered up two monster helm sets instead of one.
The current schedule works well because a weekend is a good timeframe to earn enough alliance points to buy what you are looking for. One day would be too short, not quite enough time to earn the AP needed.
