Armor for a Healer/DPS Temp

Atm I'm rockin full light Julian's with 2 pc torug and 2 staffs from torug. But realising especially in dungeons I die a lot. Which is not good for being a healer ofcourse. Should I do 4 light 3 heavy? Or what are some options? Or maybe full heavy for dungeons and have light for solo farming and stuff?

✭✭I can Tank, heal or DPS in my Divines Kagrenac's Hope. I just switch out monster set, feet and legs to heavy. I usually run with 3 dps.Edited by WillhelmBlack on September 19, 2016 4:18PMPC EU0 -

I have a whopping 16k HP.
I'm able to avoid death through smart use of Dampen Magic, a light armor skill. I would suggest you pick it up; it's all you really need for self survivability.PC NA CP 531+

You should try 5/1/1 and Harness Magicka. 21K health and more Magicka back.PC EU0 -

✭On my healer I run 5 SPC and 5 IA (changing IA for Gossamer on some runs).
Before I ran that, I did 5 SPC, 3 Willpower, 2 Torugs and 1 Kena.
In any case, heavy armor was not a consideration. Wearing heavy armor drastically reduces your sustain capabilities as a healer, so I would not recommend using heavy for anything more than the Undaunted Mettle buff (in other words, a 5/1/1 setup). To counter heavy-hitting mechanics (and to allow for a little user error), I suggest slotting Annulment and casting it in anticipation of said mechanics.0 -
Yoshious✭I have about 12k hp? All of my points went into Magicka. I have like 19k magicka. I am only cp50, just barely grazing into champion points. Maybe my skill set is just messed up? I'm using healing Springs and breath of life. Along with healing ward for when stuff gets crazy. Also have my blazing spear for a little dps help. Also use regeneration or whatever it's called. I may be naming stuff wrong. 1 skill heals over 20 seconds. Another is a 3 second AOE heal. Breath of life for the oh *** moment. Along with healing ward. Then my blazing spear and the repentance? Ultimate, the one that heals massively for 4 seconds. My other bar is for dps.0
