The Emperor's New Motif.

Based on the Emperor's New Clothes, this motif would allow the creation of invisible items (probably best restricted to gear...nobody really wants to be attacked by somebody wielding an enormous and invisible battle axe).
Invisible items would behave exactly like visible items (although I would imagine dying them would be....problematic), and would allow use to hide armor as we see fit. Don't like shoulders? Craft and equip an invisible set.
Have a problem with the design decision to create a chest piece with a sash...meaning the waist piece clips (and looks incredibly horrible)? Craft and equip and invisible waist.
I mean seriously....why would I wear a belt over a waist sash? And if I ever did wear a belt over a sash, it bloody well wouldn't look as arse as it currently does.

✭✭✭New? This is not new. The motif was called "Naked Nord" and introduced shortly in 2014 before being removed because of complaints about it in Cyrodiil.
Well it wasn't exactly taken away. Those of use who got it can still make it with a few caveats. The style mat is no longer available as a drop so we are limited to those we had before they removed them. All equipment made with that style is bind on pickup. And we can't equip when we are in Cyrodiil or que to get there if we are wearing them "Character does not meet requirements" message is given
I can't make anymore but still have a full set I made a year ago, I like to use it on alts while I work them through Cadwells quests.
Also, a little known fun fact. The user name Runs is short for RunsWithBull[Split] and that is highly relevant to this post.

Wait, what? They had something like this and removed it? I could forgive it if they had replaced it with toggles for specific items, or made the Abah's Watch style with a nice, non-clipping waist.

Just in case you're not serious, I want a motif that will allow me to create transparent / invisible gear items. So I can get the stats etc. without style showing.

My post was just me B.S.ing... There was never any set, although I think it would be interesting to make one. And I would love to have it look like I was naked in Cyrodiil, then I could have an easy "excuse" for my death. If it is a problem in PvP, just make it so that it's not invisible in PvP. Though other games have added this and I can't remember any longterm problems in PvP.0 -
