Maybe, just maybe, if you want people to agree with you, try being less aggressive? Your OP just comes off as needlessly rude and doesn't exactly paint you as someone to be reasoned with.

Irrelevant, I have every right to be upset. Me being upset, also historically creates change. You're the one stagnating this point. Group finder must be fixed come update 12 when we have everyone in every faction using the same group finder.

I knew since launch we were going to have cross faction players and scaled zones. It's not asking too much for ZOS to actually fix the fundamental issues with their group finder as we make this change.

I don't understand the problem with the OP argument. Is he complaining about the fact the group finder brought him into an ongoing dungeon run?

    Dude.......... This isn't a bug :)

I didn't say it was, and I'm not the one who had the issue, other people had the issue coming into the last boss of gold pledge today.

You don't seem to understand what an expectation is. ZOS needs to address it come update 12.

It isn't even an issue. Veteran RoM is one of the harder dungeons to complete. Often times people wand up rage quitting the session because they're unable to comprehend the mechanics of the dungeon, or is with people who refuse to listen and learn and also don't comprehend the mechanics. Players quit and then the leader can choose to find a replacement. How exactly is that an issue? It isn't an issue at all considering the fact that is the main purpose of the group finder.... to find players to do dungeon regardless if it's an ongoing session or not.

The real issue with the group finder is that it could take hours on end just to find a group to do pledges with (When guildies/friends aren't around).

This is kind of fun, since @UrQuan did get the definition of bigotry wrong (or rather, less than 100% correct I suppose - too narrow - lots of dictionaries out there, but in essence what you described is a sufficient quality to be a bigot, but not a necessary one), however he was quite correct that "bigot" was not accurate to describe his position, as alleged by @Smasherx74 (there is sufficient information to make an informed and reasonable judgment upon which to dismiss the OP based on tone rather than content)

    Learning is fun :)

Ok lets look at the definition
    BIGOTRY
a person who has strong, unreasonable beliefs and who does not like other people who have different beliefs or a different way of life

So from above based on what @UrQuan actually posted "Honestly, I think the issue of getting dropped into an in-progress dungeon and not being able to complete the pledge because of it is a valid concern. But because of OP's attitude and the way he's framed it I want to just automatically dismiss everything he posts."

So the question is; is it reasonable to dismiss someones concern, which you admit to agree with, because you don't like the person saying it?

I would say this slips into an unreasonable belief, this is Bigotry! Although @UrQuan is not a Bigot as it was made in a humourous way, without the real intention of causing offence.

Last night I was at the end of Vet ROM when someone had to leave, then nobody else who got que'd in wanted to finish the last boss they wanted their pledge, eventually after 3 people didn't want to even bother with it we disbanded.

The issue of group finder taking hours will be solved come update 12, which is why I'm proposing we handle this expectation right now.

I don't think Zenimax is ignoring the issue. But, I think I know why they did this. Maybe they don't feel people should get rewarded if they don't do the WHOLE dungeon. There is much work still to be done on Activity finder. I would suggest more tool tip to let the player know exactly which boss a group is on before entering the dungeon. Like, where it asks to join or decline. Hope that point of view helps clarify this.

This is why random dungeons que into the pledge dungeons so often.

When update 12 comes we AT LEAST should disallow people looking for pledges to be qued into a dungeon already almost complete.
