The thing is - I do agree, but no doubt you'd have stam users whining about it. They, at least, have the option to dual wield, pure magicka users don't. This needs to happen

I like the idea of magicka gauntlets.

Someone posted about them not too long ago.

I like the idea of dual wielding sticks (wands, scepters, half-staves what ever) but feel it would need it's own (Magicka based) skill line because the current dual wield skills would not really fit...

So what would be equivalent?
Twin Slashes ... Twin Bolts
--> Rending Slashes ... Rending Bolts
--> Blood Craze ... Vampiric Bolts (minor healing)

Flurry ... Bolt Spray
--> Bloodthirst ... Vampiric Spray
--> Rapid Strikes ... Rapid Bolts

Whirlwind ... Whirlwind
--> Steel Tornado ... Fire/Frost/Lightning Tornado
--> Whirling Blades ... Whirling Fire/Frost/Lightning

Blade Cloak ... Fire/Frost/Lightning Cloak
--> Deadly Cloak ...
--> Quick Cloak ...

Hidden Blade ... Not Sure
--> Flying Blade ...
--> Shrouded Daggers ...

Passives:
--> Slaughter
--> Dual Wield Expert
--> Controlled Fury
--> Ruffian
--> Twin Blade and Blunt

Then add Fire, Frost and Lightning (or Poison, disease and Force) and the different permutations of each skill
and all the graphics...

yes, for sure it would need its own skill line, ideally for each element its own (or at least of just one skill line, then for each element different effect of the skill)

Am I the only one thinking that there is probably a reason as to why a staff does not count as 2 pieces.? And that, if so, you are probably not granted dual wield magic either.?

Interesting that I was thinking of this too recently. Wands as the two handed or one hand and shield version of staffs.

I know wands exist in other fantisy universes but I don't recall seeing them in any other Elder Scrolls francise.

Wands might be seen as a bit "Harry Potter" for the Elder Scrolls world. I thought even the suggestion would be shot down quickly

...then I saw this thread and thought I am not the only one at least who has suggested it...
