Is there any sort of class skill tree standardization?

For example, each class has three skill trees. Is there any standard behind which skill tree is best for each role, such as First tree = dps, Second tree = Healer, Third Tree = Tank? In some sense it seems like each tree is better for a certain role but I'm having a hard time determining any sort of standardized structure between the classes.

I'm pretty sure my problem is amplified by weapon/armor abilities and choices but it seems there should be some standardized structure for the class skill trees.

The first one is the main DPS skill line, the third is a support line, and the second is a class-specific skill line which makes each class unique. For example, Nightblades: Assasination is the main DPS line, Siphoning the Support/Healing Line, and Shadow the illusionist line that only Nightblades get. Sorcerers, likewise, have a Dark Magic which is mainly DPS abilities, Storm Calling in their third skill line spot giving them buffs, DoTs and executes and such, and then their unique Summoning line.

There is a soft rule of dps, defensive support and offensive support. But its not a hard rule.
