Over the years I've been a member of all kinds of forums, each with their own rules about users signature.
Now for the life of me, i can't find the rules for signatures here.
Can anybody get me a link or whatever that will help?

What are Natch Potes? Can you eat those?

    Yeah everything pretty much goes. With the only exception being videos and pictures. Take mines for example.

    Yeah you can use html. I'm not sure about css though.

    1 - as long as by "creative" you don't mean "lengthy, screen cluttering..."

    2 - Yes, Natch Potes are yuuuummmmyyyy... but they have a "best before" limit... that limit being "soon(tm)" ;)

    Personally I'm glad we don't have image signatures. With appropriate limitations they can be ok, but I've been on too many forums where people are allowed to post anything and you get about 15 people using the same gross but technically within the rules image or meme of the week so it shows up over and over and over in every topic.

    Or my personal pet hate - poorly made flickering gifs. Like 2 seconds of someone laughing, running slightly too fast so it's just an image twitching from one picture to another constantly. I find it impossible to focus on the text I'm trying to read with something like that on the page but they're often so big relative to the post that it's impossible to get it off the screen. So I end up blocking people who use them and miss half a conversation.

    I'm just wondering if they have some html tags blocked or not.
    Because if not, with current html standard you can do a lot.
