Magicka Sorcerer is still really viable in both PvE and PvP.

Magicka Sorc is one of the best DPS in PvE (Streak One - 48,5k DPS on the Twins) and its still beast in PvP. Sorry to be that kind of guy but... Learn to play...

Probably another "you nerfed shield duration put it back!" thread. Also inb4 lock for saying someone should be fired.

Yeah sorcs are still among the highest DPS in PvE and they can be a royal pain in PvP.

Lots of people play them in both. They arent broken at all.

Here's the thing. If something is making you super unreasonably mad about a video game, you (anyone) should either stop playing that game or find a work around. For example, I have to avoid the entire subject of cheating because it was making me super mad how it was being handled. The only way I was going to get past it was to have no further interaction with the subject. I'm not saying I stopped caring about the subject, I just can't pay attention to it right now because it makes me so mad. And like you, I don't want to be mad all the time over a video game.

I stopped being a nb dps and became a tank after seeing the absolute insanity that is overload with 1500 ult. You are nuts if you think sorc is no longer fun.

Game development is a joke current day and this has to be one of the newest lows.

You may be hitting the numbers, be it what ever your target market is but that group will hope train faster than you can blink.

I know that you're expecting a response like this, but honestly, I felt the same way about any game I played when I allowed video games to be my primary mode of entertainment, and even at times my primary platform for achieving things. I don't know if this is the case for you, but when all I had going on was everyday stuff and my video game (mainly because I couldn't afford any other activities) I let work and my game determine my attitude. If this game bothers you enough to post here about it, then my best guess is that you need to do something more intellectually stimulating. I know that that helped me; I stopped caring about the condition of the games I played, and felt a hell of a lot better. You only have a couple of options, accept the game for what it is; try and find new ways for the game to be fun; take a break; quit playing altogether.

Don't ever request that someone should lose their job because of the way you feel. What do you know about game development? (rhetorical)

Ultimately, people will either play the game or they won't, and any issues that drive people away will eventually be addressed, or they won't, and the game will go under. To be honest, the majority of the complaints I see on this message board are just a fraction of what ZOS probably deals with, and a lot of those complaints are extremely dramatic (sorry, they are) and blown out of proportion. Sometimes I'm more concerned about why people are letting a virtual world affect their attitude in a real one so greatly! Any interaction with a negative environment will end up having some kind of an effect on you. This message board included, the negativity here is just endless. Hence the reasoning for finding something new; get away from what makes you feel negative. I don't know, this is just an opinion. But it works for most *** in life.

What...? Lol. How? I have a MagSorc main, and that opinion is a very 'interesting' one. I have every single class at Lv.50, with "best-in-slot" damage dealer gear; my MagSorc is in last in overall damage output.

My StamDK damage in PVE is obnoxiously highly, with my StamTemplar close behind. Followed by my MagTemplar and MagNB. My MagDK then follows suit, and then my MagSorc. I rarely ever play my StamSorc or StamNB, so I won't even include those. But, how do you figure that claim? How...?

Edit: To further back-up my claims, people are clearing VMA in ~37mins. with stamina characters. I think @andy_s did a StamDK clear in 35mins., if I'm not mistaken. Has a magicka class even broke 40mins.? Let alone a MagSorc?

Magsorcs are posting some of the highest scores scores in vMA right now (PC NA). I've also encountered a lot of really strong magsorcs while in Cyrodiil. Magsorcs might have received a few nerfs over the last couple of patches, but they are definitely still in a good spot. Arguably the best class in terms of damage output and damage mitigation.
