200CP? Sounds like you're missing out on a lot of what this game has to offer. If you were on EU I'd invite you to our guild, we're a weird bunch but we get stuff done. Dungeons, trials and PvP is what you need for CP's, grinding makes you fall asleep!

@Rohamad_Ali I'mma let you in on something I started doing, if you have the Dark Brotherhood DLC.

Initiate the questline. Talk to the guy, and get the Blade of Woe. Once you have this ability forget the quest and go over to Anvil Castle. Go inside, head over to the first door on the right, which will lead to one of the Castle wings. Once inside, sneak, and go crazy. Assassinate every Guard you can (don't feel bad about it, they're murderous Pirates), loot their bodies, and also steal from every single piece of furniture you can. Cut a swathe through the entire Castle until your inventory fills up, then exit the castle, mosey on over to the Outlaws Refuge and sell it all. Rinse and repeat until you've maxed out your number of sold items for the day, then do it again tomorrow. Also if you can't directly sell any more, launder them instead then sell them to the Merchant across from the Fence. You'll easily earn 3,000 to 6,000-ish gold a day doing this, especially if you have skill points put into your Legerdemain line.

And don't worry about your CP. I've been playing for over a year now and I'm still not at the cap, though I'm getting close.

Oh WOW this sounds fun !

As Roechacca pointed out he is sitting on a fat sack of mats because beta pre launch player too.
How does "beta pre launch" help with gold tempers?
All beta accounts were deleted the night before launch day.

We had one huge farewell party in Cyrodiil right up until the beta server was shut down.

He doesn't know anything about the beta, he's always rambling nonsense. I have a ton of mats because the first thing I did when the game released was level up crafting. Our entire guild pitched in. Pre launch access just gave a few days jump start on everyone else.

Try a 100k random dungeon + enlightenment + exp booster like ambrosia. If you finish a bunch of quests but dont collect the reward, you can que up a bunch while you wait for activity finder to connect.
Try rotating dungeons, pvp, and farming if you get sick of one. Theres a lot of supserstition on refining gold mats, so pick your own poison there.
CP earns slower as you advance. At this point im comfortable earning 2-3 cp a day, even if im not at max earning potential, i dont get bored.

Then I'll rephrase it. You didn't learn anything from beta. Everything from beta was wiped. You also rolled a Khajiit Magblade. This is solid evidence you didn't learn anything. If you would of rolled Stam then Khajiit would make sense and grinding wouldn't be such a pain.

Now that you're off on your own I suggest you stop watching YouTube and start listening to more experienced players. There is a ton of content that pays more then grinding. Slow your role and listen up more.

Sorry to hear that, and it sucks even more to see when it happens to someone so upbeat. To be honest, I've been playing for a loooong time now and I'm still in purple gear - only my weapons are gold. Don't try and push yourself too hard. Purple gear is totally fine.
I'm also constantly broke. My armor sets are generally made up of cheap bad trait gear from guild stores and PVP rewards for the worthy. Had 400k last month, which was new for me. I was just farming and PVPing in IC for stones, then buying and selling mats (ingots, leather, hakeijos). Unfortunately it's all gone now thanks to alloy prices.. The good thing about grinding IC was, I earned a lot of CP at the same time because of the exp bonus you get for grinding PVP zones. Before they introduced the catch up mechanic I was at 40 CP, and now I'm at around 600.
And hey, if you're frustrated and need a break, try some fishing =D Sometimes I'm lucky enough to fillet 4 roe a day. That's nearly 40k right there.
Good luck to you, and I hope you find your groove again.

heh. Player since beta. Participate in any gold dungeon, don't do 'bad' (Not pro-leaderboard player, but defiantly hold my own and can easily be considered a 'good' player for the most part) and I've not 'avoided' any part of the game(Still yet to finish vMA but thats due to frustration and knowledge that one needs silly stupid insane luck to get the maelstrom weapon one needs) or vDA(Honestly, just recently heard of it lol) and I'm not at cap yet.

I think I'll always be roughly 100cp behind the 'cap' (They will conveniently raise it just as I get close...)

Don't feel bad. Just play the game, try stuff, have fun, go places, meet people. Nothing else is needed.

After 160 cp all your will really notice is very (VERY) slight increase to your resource pools, and a minor increase to damage.

Your fine, don't let anyone tell you (aside from the highest difficulty runs, which would be more attributed to gear/skill and NOT cp) your not 'high enough' to participate.

It's really worth it to level a crafter- especially with One Tamriel coming.

You can wander in any zone, harvest and kill everything you see, and refine and deconstruct everything for tempers and materials while gaining xp and gold for your critter killing spree.

Take advantage of everything in the game- guilds, group dungeons, pvp, world bosses, crafting, stealing, traders- and you won't even have to think about mats and gold. You'll be swimming in them- and by doing different things all the time.

I think it only becomes a grind when you choose to focus on one thing- only farming, only grinding, only pvp- that will make your experience lopsided and you won't have much to show for it.

    tl:dr- DO ALL THE THINGS!

I try personally to do everything but I find myself oddly overwhelmed with all I want to do. Max all skill lines, get all skyshards and lore books (I have addons to show me where they are), try to get to a better CP level (currently 133) so people don't exclude me from stuff. (If you're looking for a DPS for a gold, just give me a chance to show you what I can do)

I finished the main storylines for DB, TG, MG, FG. I haven't really done much in Orsinium (just enough to get Stuga to leave me alone)

I finished everything on the Alik'r desert map (turned all the icons white), attempted nMA (big mistake)

I discovered recently that the blade of woe can make you a lot of gold very quickly. I had been under the impression that to get rich from crime in eso you had to be a skilled pickpocket, but there's absolutely no need when you can just assassinate them first, then rob them lol. I'm still new to it but I estimate an income of about 2k gold for 15 mins work, probably more with experience and passives.

Edit: be prepared for other players to stand and stare in what seems like horror as you quietly wipe out the population of Kvatch.

Ok so this is not normally being me but I am so down .

I've been grinding for a month now and finally hitting cp200 and the purple gear . Still don't have the exact set I want and still needing gold gears . I've met some good grinding buddies a long the way and we becam friends . It's just such a long road and the gold sinks are heavy . Seeing a little coin in my pocket from hard work and then wooosh ! All gone on a couple mats in seconds .

    cat.jpeg

The adventures are what usually inspired me to keep going but I know I'm running low on that soon . Don't think of me as the Debbie Downer cause usually happy just today so tired . 300 plus more cp to go and a probably more then another 500k gold grind . I'm in a rut guys . Need skooma or some sage like advice . Inspirational energy depleted and slow to logging in .

I just started doing writs and I get gold mats ALOT. Try it out, doesn't matter what level your crafting is. What mega server are you on? Perhaps I can lend you a hand with mats.

You might want to craft yourself some purple cp 150 armorwith the training trait for grinding. All three armour types of course, 3/2/2. This doubles your experience gain and thus your way to cp cap will only be half as long.
You can then actually max all weapons and skills in all their morphs on the way up, so You can reuse the armor on your other toons as well, if you take armor that is useful for everyone like pelinals or willows.

I have three purple armor sets in training. One for level 10, 30 and one for cp150. I reuse them to level my toons, which really really speeds things up.

don't upgrade stuff to gold, the cost/gain is just NOT worth, especially if you are still messing around with build/gear.

and the only real difference between V15-16 gear is the enchant value. so again unless your dead set purple V15 gear is nearly as effective as gold V16 gear and a fraction of the cost.
    ESO player since beta.
    game got too disappointing.

I have a set build nailed down very good . I know on paper it doesn't seem to be a big deal but on my old account with all gold and triglyphs , I feel an enormous difference . Boom 1 shot kills . No problem . 3 hit combos no getting up from . I miss it terribly . I want my AD Khajiit to be powerful and a good help .
