I've played on mute since the day I bought the game years ago. ESO music is horrific.
OT: I find the more you "break" immersion the better your grinding is. For instance in Hews Bane collecting mats you can sustain ~50k per hour (with 50 in all Craft) just afk wandering around while on netflix. Likewise grinding it's hard to beat IC sewers or if that bothers you then normal Maelstrom Arena is a great way to gain some CP very fast.

I switch my skills around to relieve the boredom... making for some truely dreadful combinations on occasion. But the grind for gold mats is horrific imo... esp with limited time and a full stable of chars. I guess I should craft some blue armour that gives more gold on kills or training if I'm CP farming.

running trials on normal is a good way to make money atm, and good for CP earning
if your just after a grinding spot pick somewhere with xombies, skelentons, drougr and loot the bodies crawlers, worms, guts sell for GOOD prices more than enough to repair your armour and leave some extra coin in your pocket.
what platform/server btw?
It says a lot about either this game or you that they hand us all this PvE content and you choose to grind.
Maybe you could take your buddies and do dungeons. Chase an achievement. Do quests, dailies. Why run in circles killing the same things? It's not a race.

I am on the PC NA and don't have any experience with much group play or the trials . I thought I was needing to be fully geared before doing those . Don't want rek a PvE group with a under geared toon .
That's what you get for leaving dude. We had everything you needed but you just had to play AD didn't you. I'll be sitting on the porch drinking lemonade while you tottle around PvE land whining, enjoying ever last sip. Might log in and count some gold mats and reorganize the two overflowing guild banks for chuckles. Try not to sprain a finger.
The only reason I have enough gold mats to do anything is because I got them all 2 years ago when they were remotely reasonable to obtain, and having 100k was like being the richest person on earth.
And the only reason I still have enough money to buy my gold mats I don't have is because I made it all back when certain vr1 markets existed that got blown to bits with the removal of vr. Good move for the game, bad for business...

Yes the gold mats cost around 9k each and requires almost 10 to be sure a non crafter with the bad RNG luck doesn't break a great weapon lol . So much money !

i did a random writ on a low level charter the other day, and got gold tempers so if you are low on gold/skill points but have a healthy reserve of low level mats - it may be an idea to complete theseRohamad_Ali wrote: »puffytheslayer wrote: »you wont be spending much more money on gear now you are over 160.

i have run all normal trial quite a few times and in my experience as long as some of the group know exactly what they are doing, completing it is possible.
usally the smoothest 'training' runs are 50/50 it is the only way people can learn the content, in my experience (on xbox EU) the only requirment is that you are CR160 or above, using CR160 weapons (cr150 armour is fine as a place holder when you are low on mats/gold).
Gear is important in as much as your gear should be appropriate for your build, but BoS end game gear is not mandatory/necessary for normal runs,
the players who are 'inexperienced' re trials (i hate using that term but i cant think of a better one atm) just need to do two things,
1. listen to group leader, (i.e there are overchargers in sanctum ophidia, general rule, is get them down 1st, so if trial leader say target the overcharger, target the overcharger & ignore the troll's)
2. if you are confused about directions/instructions, or the group leader isnt leading properly dont be affraid to ask for help, say this is my 1st ever run, i have no idea what im doing, please tell me so i can perform my role. and decent player will be happy to explain it to you
It's really worth it to level a crafter- especially with One Tamriel coming.
You can wander in any zone, harvest and kill everything you see, and refine and deconstruct everything for tempers and materials while gaining xp and gold for your critter killing spree.
Take advantage of everything in the game- guilds, group dungeons, pvp, world bosses, crafting, stealing, traders- and you won't even have to think about mats and gold. You'll be swimming in them- and by doing different things all the time.
I think it only becomes a grind when you choose to focus on one thing- only farming, only grinding, only pvp- that will make your experience lopsided and you won't have much to show for it.
tl:dr- DO ALL THE THINGS!

Not too many drippy sounds....heartbeat sounds of the@$%@$%@%$@ generals, yes.
I would also like to point out that you know at least one 9 trait crafter who would be happy to help with any gear you need. For free. Maxed out on skillpoints, so refining raw mats has a nice return on tempers.
