Honestly, the DOT on Elemental Ring is so weak, that if you'd rather take Pulsar, that's fine. The only time I'd take Elemental Ring would be if I was a Magicka Templar/Magicka DK because of the reliance on DOTs to get Skoria to proc.

Not usually. They are immune to that attack. That's usually only for adds. If I'm wrong feel free to correct me

Enemies of "Rank" 2 and 3 are usually immune, but 1 and trash are usually not.

Well it's for vet trials and I was going to be running 5 elegance, 5 infallible aethar and 1 Kena on my magdk, with molten armaments heavy attacks will hit like a truck plus recovery won't be a problem
