High Ping

Dear ZOS,
Since the recent patch, my ping has spiked to numbers not seen in awhile (anywhere between 500 - 999+) in all zones, PVE and PVP.
I almost cancelled writing this thread seeing as to how yesterday and today (only), my ping suddenly remained stable throughout many hours of playing at 270 - 290 which (for me) has never happened. To put it mildly, I was VERY VERY HAPPY and told myself that maybe server optimization has finally provided positive results. Even during large PVP battles in the last two days, the worst ping was averaging 310 ms with relatively smooth gameplay throughout.
Prior to this, my average ping would be anywhere between 300 - 350 on a normal day, and 350-650 during large PVP battles.
Logging back after four hours break today, I was disappointed to see that the high ping has returned, 450 - 999+ in PVP and PVE alike. I've done all that I can to ensure that my connection is stable. Contacted my ISP and no problems there, did a speed test to Dallas - TX and everything seems normal, restarted my router, ran a repair from launcher, ensured nothing was updating/downloading in the background and found nothing out of the ordinary. I have not changed anything to my PC within the past year.
Please tell me you are once again optimizing your servers and things will revert to the 270-290 ping that I've experienced the last two days. Thank you and I remain hopeful.

if u look trough the posts on general and one at pc technical support, u will see more players (not much tho, just a small group) have the same, similar or other problems on multiple eu/na severs since 2/3 days ago, so dont worry it's not your pc
