What's undaunted about?

Just hit level 45 and got an undaunted invite.

What is undaunted all about? I'm assuming it's a choice of dungeons or something? Is it a group thing or can they be solo'd at my level?

It is a guild you can join that offers a new skill line and the opportunity to do daily pledges (quests to do group dungeons) At level 45 you can do normal (silver) pledges and at lvl 50 you can do vet pledges (gold)

Actually you could have joined the undaunted much earlier. there is a group of undaunted in a tavern in each of the 3 factions 1st zones. That would have given you access to the skill line. The invite is just to start doing pledges.

Some of them can technically be done solo, but at level 45 it's going to be extremely difficult. They are meant for a 4-person group.

If/when you decide to do the pledges, I'd save your keys (reward for completing pledges) until you get to the gear cap (CP160). The reward scales off of your level upon opening the chest.

Also, with Update 12 there will be a daily Undaunted quest available that can be easily done solo, so if for whatever reason you want to increase your Undaunted skill line (which advances by gaining Undaunted experience, much like the other guild skill lines), but you can't/don't want to do group content, you'll have a method of doing it. It's worth noting that the active skills in the Undaunted skill line are pretty much exclusively designed for group content, as they rely heavily on things like synergies to be effective. There are some passives in the skill line that are very nice for both solo and group play though.
