Load screens. Exactly what am I waiting for? @Wheeler

So the other night, I was playing with my guild( that had to wait for me just to get into Cyrodiil because there was a queue) and while teleporting from one keep to another, I got a load screen. Not just any load screen. A load screen I decided to wait out, and wait I did. FIFTEEN MINUTES I waited before finally giving in and doing an alt-f4, and restarting the game. Anyone who's been around with a queue for your faction knows that if you alt-f4, or the game crashes etc. ...that most often you end up kicked out of Cyro and have to re-queue.
I can only thank the electronic gods that somehow I did end up back in Cyro here I teleported to. However, it still begs the question. WHY does this happen? What am I waiting for? Why is this getting so bad again?

I find that closing the game via task manager doesn't put me outside of Cyrodiil.0 -

✭Yeah, I don't get these either. At times I thought it was my Addon Master Merchant but I can have really quick loading screens with it enabled. I bet it has to do with the memory leak the game has as it seems to clear up after you ALT F4 and then log back in.NA Server - Kildair0 -

✭✭✭I don't think the loadscreens are something to do with the client. Forztr✭✭✭✭The only time i get long load screens in PVP is when I'm in a large group. Maybe it's a feature to discourage groups of more than 12. It doesn't always happen when I'm in a large group but once it starts it's pretty much guaranteed that every load screen will be a long one.
Had this issue for over year so it's nothing new. I rarely run in big groups now unless I heal since purge only works on group members but that's a rant for another time.0 -
Dreyloch✭✭✭✭✭I tried all the normal things we do to get that screen over with. Starting the task manager, having the raid lead kick offliners, someone even suggested pushing to roll dodge and weapon swap while in the screen. LOL, I really don't think that does anything, but none of this worked. I really would love a dev to come explain why porting within the same zone is a 50/50 chance of this load screen boss that we all loathe =("The fear of Death, is often worse than death itself"0
