LOL it does... but u know change of cenary is alway's nice
I dun give a *** about lore in a pvp enviroment!
Imagine how hard it would be to supply a real military base which is across dozens of miles of disputed territory and bordered by solidly hostile territory on one side vs. one which is right on the border of your home territory. In real life it won't make any sense for AD players to be spawned and the Morrowind gate which would have to be constantly defended from pact troops pressing in from Stonefalls trough the mountain passes and from rampaging Covenant and Pact armies in Cyrodiil. One cool thing would be to have the corresponding gates somewhere on the other side of the mountains and actually be able to enter your home/guest campaign trough them, as an alternative to the current port mechanics. For EP and DC would be possible, since both High Rock and Morrowind (less Vvardenfell) are already implemented in the game, but for AD it would not, since Elsweyr is not implemented yet.
One thing that I've been pondering though is if it's possible to climb right into the enemy base, where the shrine is. Even by using a glitch, because there is a wall with doors that can't be opened by enemy players right at the top. Once I went into the enemy home base area while the outer gate was open and got sufficiently close to see the shrine icon without actually discovering it.

You can get inside the gate and up to the enemies wall. You can get up on to the wall and take a good look at the enemy base, you used to be able to fire siege from some parts as well, it made the time when The Golden spawned in a lot more interesting
Now though, if you do get up on to the enemy wall you get teleported back to your home base. I was chained up onto the wall once.

No, you don't get teleported. At least, I've never seen the reds that gap closed up onto that ad edge (eastern base) get teleported. They die, and just get rezzed by a buddy standing below them. To dislodge them you must spam knock back abilities until you catch a gap between cc immunity.
I never thought about aiming siege at the golden's tent, firing a cold fire treb at an unbuffed unblocking group doing merchant stuff. It seems like a sleazy thing to me, which means I should be on guard against the reds of xb-na pulling such a stunt.

Well too bad because the position of each base for each faction is in conjunction with the regions each faction belongs to and it would make absolutely no sense to rotate that, period. AD is southwest Tamriel, EP is northeast Tamriel, DC is northwest Tamriel. AD is also technically more central southern Tamriel also but we don't have all of Elswyer to play in yet lol
Seriously, why would the Aldmeri Dominion allow Daggerfall Covenant or Ebonheart Pact to be stationed at the Elswyer Gates? That is literally inviting them to invade the Aldmeri Dominion. Same can be said about the other factions. Like it or not, lore takes priority in this game, even if some things already come close to breaking it entirely (One Tamriel).

Do you just get your jollies by coming on the forums to disagree with any suggestions made by other people or what? Every thread I see you comment on is to tell people any ideas they have for or about the game are bad.

Appreciate the Lore or go play Counterstrike.

Or you could continue to play and still care nothing about the lore that according to a lot of forum people has been broken countless times.
Btw they could change the lore if they decided it would make more $$$. Kind of like how you can transform from a lizard to a cat (race change)
