High Ping and Freeze Issues after 14 September Manteinance

After the servers shutdown and the maintenance of the 14 September, I'm experiencing randomly high ping, game freeze and sometimes logoff. Before that, it was running flawlessly. Now the game is not playable anymore (not even for fishing).

No FPS issues. Not mine connection fault.

Connecting from Italy, EU PC server.

I might have the same issue.
I have always played on max setting just fine. Cyrodiil is usually 45FPS in normal battles.

Yesterday I was in Cyrodiil and fought a minor battle with less than 10 total participants outside of Nikel (south side, by the slope towards Roebeck) when I started experiencing freezes and FPS drops to 10-20.

The freezes effected both ESO and Discord; during freezes Discord did not recognize that I was pressing Push To Talk button.

Restarting the game fixed the issue. I did not restart any other program, but I DID turn off Chrome.

The rest of the evening I played fine.

It is not the same issue, since I experience no FPS drop, but high ping spikes that make the game freeze and then logout.

Using the PTS on the the same hardware and ISP gives me absolutely no lag. So it's a EU server problem...

Anybody else with the same issue?

Same here. I was in funeral grotto doing gold and it was horrible. Than i was in mournhold and lags as well.

have kind of the same problem after the maintenance of the 14 September
game stutters and freezes non stop , high ping, and sometimes log of or even crash
difference is my fps, normally i play on +-30 fps (yeah i know its not great but game runs good enough for me on my graphics card) but since the mainenace when it freezes its 0 (logic) when it stutters Between 1-9, but when i standing still in busy vunkhel guard its between 40-60 (so cunfused about this)

just like your game, my game is unplayable atm, also on EU/pc server

there are multible post about game problems after the maintence of 14 september (yup there are more problems atm thatt players have) on the general forum , but no word from ZOS yet

Same here, constant latency lag and logouts with error 200 every 30-40 minutes. No fps drop, EU server.

day 5 and still not fixed and nothing from ZOS
i don't like it to be unable to play
tried a lot , repair game-change settings to low etc but nothing helps
i know ZOS is busy with swimming in our money (thats a joke dont take it serieus) but the could atleast tell us the know about the problem

have a free day tomorrow and will try to reinstall and hope it works

with october around the corner , i really want to be able to play when witches festival comes
does anyone of u got it fixed?

After a couple of days the ping on PC-EU went again normal, as in the PTS, for my account.

In the meantime I tried also the DNS flush, as suggested in https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6482/kw/ping but this didn't worked instantaneously for me, because the ping issue was still on after reboot. So I don't think that was this procedure to solve my ping issue, but it's worth for you to try it before reinstall.

Let me know if it works.

ping is normal now (still goes to red sometimes but its mostly white again), but game freezes still ever couple of seconts

I get ping-spikes several times a day, sometimes lasting for 15-20 seconds at a time, and frequently get many that don't last as long.

Last night my pings were running 3,000 to 8,500.

But I never disco during a ping-spike.

I disco often while playing, tho.
