So I've been working on the Master Fisher achievement for quite some time now & I'm curious if anyone else who has tried this has felt like the RNG for fishing is off. I know & understand that if you have multiple people fishing, the rare drop rate is increased but let's face it - there are only so many people or guildmates interested in the mindnumbing process of working on this achievement. For the 3 starter zones, there is 1 blue fish each & I managed to catch it in 2 of the 3 zones on the first cast. The 3rd starter zone, it was within the first fishing spot so no more than 15 casts. However, I have been through tons of crawlers for the last fish in Coldharbour & I can't seem to catch it, even though times I have fished with someone, they got it - twice. I've cleared multiple zones in Daggerfall with the exception of 3 or 4 left in 3 of the zones & I just can't seem to get those last few. Drivin me nuts!
