More interface addons for console players!

Frozenmosquito
Anybody anxious to get buff/debuff meters/timers for consoles? Also what other addons do you hope to see on consoles?

Sadly PC users have an advantage over console users currently in every sense, and while it is possible to perfect rotations without having buff trackers, Its still a pain. Especially in vMA I find myself overcasting surge like a mofo.

Hopefully we & zos can make the gap more narrow in the future
please nerf writs

idk, I feel like buff and debuff timers should have been released with the UI. It's certainly very weird that the game was released without even a basic timer. Actually, this is the only modern mmo I have ever seen do that before.

Every time they release a patch, I pray to Azura that maybe we will finally have buff and debuff timers, but to no avail. :'(

ZoS does not realize how important buff/debuff timers are in a pve game with DoT classes and healing classes, this timer allows people to maximize their DPS or HPS. There is a very blatant reason why PC ESO guilds are almost always on top of the leader boards and console guilds have to trail after them.

Sadly there's been many post about this and we never get a comment from ZoS about it. Curent console UI is no help to the player, only thing that matters on the screen is health the rest is bs. We really need Buffs/Debuffs timer, Search bar on Traders, Toggleble onscreen Minimap , Markers on map that you can save not just 1 waypoint, Stam and Magicka % of group members, Private DPS parser etc...

There's a lot of things that they can add to help Console players gaming experience, but i doubt we'll ever get it. Took 2 years to get chat support, Current UI has never been changed since beta. Even if ZoS doesnt plan on ever giving us anything at least let us know.

Personally, I would be okay with a buff and debuff counter and a dps and hps meter. For me, being able to compare my dps to other people in my group is part of the fun. I like seeing what works and what does not.

When I played WoW and raided, sure my dps was important to being able to do mythic raids but being able to measure myself after each raid boss and possibly switching up skill rotations and talents to push my dps higher was so satisfying.

They probably just give one person a task to build add on for console. Hey Johnny can u build a mini map for console, yeah. How long should it take me. Doesn't matter just get done. A year later, I finely got it down. Dude really thats horrible, start again. Johnny grab his color book and crayons and storms off.

If I can be 100% honest.
ZOS should use the exact same UI for both PC and consoles.

The controller should just jump to selections. I used a Xbox one controller from closed beta until console release via Xpadder and had no issues at all.
If the cursor was a highlight that moved (jumped) to the sections that's all that would be needed.

This is important because you're asking for non ZOS folks who create mods to offer them for consoles however the console UI is not accessible even on PC in Gamepad mode.

Step 1 is that all platforms utilize the same UI and that may open up opportunities for at least Xbox one down the road. PS4 has Sony issues to overcome.

Blame Sony and Microsoft because modding is against their TOS. Any features you want will need to be base game additions.

I'd like to have a "5 minutes remaining" on-screen warning that my food is about to expire. Always seems to happen seconds after I get into a major PVP battle... :)

Actually that's only for Sony TOS. Microsoft welcomes modding, they recently tweeted about it after Sony denied Bethesda. The UI issue is all on ZOS, primitive bs UI from 1999 is unacceptable. 2 years to add chat function.. and never got any comments on fixing these issues for console players. We're not asking for mods, just features to the current UI.

    I would really like this.

Nothing to crazy but buff and debuff would just be nice. Even make it a toggle option or at least the ability to move it to a location on my screen.

I really like how clean my UI is compared to 50 things on my screen like PC. But a mini map and or a buff/debuff gets my vote for sure.

As a PC player, I really feel for the console players. There are addons that I can't live without now that I have used them. I tried disabling them on a new character to see what it would be like, and instantly put them back up.

I use tactical foundry for damage numbers and timers, sky shards, lorebooks, and trait buddy. Trait buddy is awesome if you craft, because it shows you which character, if any, has researched the trait on that specific item.

I know that addons are against the console TOS, but I wish an ESO dev would make versions of them for consoles.
