economy problems will appear with OneTamrial?

    I haven't yet seen a single convincing argument as to why One Tamriel is going to break the economy.

    Then again, the economy is already largely broken if not non-existent and therefore I'm not sure it really matters what effect One Tamriel has, it can scarcely make it worse. The key to a working ingame economy is an effective public trading system open to all, and that we simply don't have now and we won't have it under One Tamriel.

    Also keep in mind they have been trying to balance crafting nodes between zones so that certain areas are not better fore harvesting etc. So that way people should spread out

    As for grinding. Every grind spot you ever knew of during levelling should in theory now be viable since everywhere is your level ;) so once again. In theory people should have a better chance at spreading themselves up between grindspots.

    @Tandor

    I don't think 1T is going necessarily break the economy, but it will have a big impact on some aspects of the economy, namely intermediate Mats for Equipment Crafting. Most players who craft for others or their Alts do so on a CP160 plus character with maxed out Crafting Material Skills. These people will only see Top End Mats, with no way to farm for low to intermediate mats on that character. So, the Supply for these mats is going to dry up. How much demand will change remains to be seen, but this demand will not go away as much as the supply will.

    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    with all the factions playing together, don't you think farming and grinding will be much difficult now? places like Wrothgar and coldharbour will be crawling with farmers ..

    Wrothgar shouldn't be affected by One Tamriel - it's alreay scaled to your level. If you are level 15 and go to wrothgar the nodes are oak, flax and that better iron ore.

    So basically look at how Wrothgar, Hews Bane, and The Gold Coast work now - the rest of Tamriel will be like that.

    In fact, I predict the prices of Ruby Ash, Rubedite, and other 160 materials to come down because 160 characters will find them everywhere, not just Cyrodil and the DLC's. In fact, I already put my stock up for sale to get a good price now.

    But Grinding could be much harder, depending on how you did it. I liked to level up in zones 5 levels above me and get bonus experience all the way to level 40, but I won't be able to do that now. But grinding for most people will be just like now if you go to a DLC when you are under 160.

    well then, we will all need to wait and see what will happen. until we get a sold information about instancing from zenimax we can't really know what 1 tamrial is gonna bring up to the gameplay. however, we shall not judge it by the 1st week of release, we need time to adapt the new environment and the major problems will eventually pop out.

    I don't think getting mats will be a problem at all.

    I wonder what will happen to guild traders. I wonder if some of the current popular places will die out and all the players migrate somewhere else. For example at this time I have some EP and AD characters. EP's main hub is Mournhold is way more crowded then Rawl or Grathwood by a longshot. Now without caldwells silver and gold barring you from other hubs to start, I wonder if people will leave the crowded area or maybe people will leave some of the smaller areas and all drop into some big hub. Rawl is definatly the most convienent hub as far as distance to bank/guildtrader, but with new dailys and stuff I don't remember if they have a mage guild or not for example and will be able to get certain daily theres, where a capital city has everything. But Mornhold is also very convenient, you got all your guild traders and crafting stations right next to the wayshrine too only with the bank a tad further of a run.

    Now that I can play my AD characters anywhere once OT, I don't think I would ever use ghratwood again as one example. I know currently on my high level AD toons, yes I could bank at mounrhold in the veteran version of the zone and get my daily quests there but theres not many people there to make dungeon groups and since Im in an MMO I just like to see other people around anyways.

    Im not really sure how daggerfall compares, I don't have any native DF character, only been there in silver and gold.

    As a craftier, I am concerned about mats and level drops, but, as to the economy vs One Tamriel, I am VERY concerned about the BOP of trials, etc. All the 200k+ rings and gear that are a huge gold sink will be gone. Any items in guild stores will click to BOP and be returned. Granted, I don't have any of these high priced items myself, but they are important in the large scale of Tamriels economy. How is this going to affect trader sales? That will trickle down to affect bidding prices, for the good? for the bad? What are your thoughts?
    But, as always when I was skeptical about a decision Zos made, I will wait and see...I'm sure the sky won't fall and all will be fine.:)
