    You people who think they are going to tell us specifically what went wrong are deluded. Fortunately, I have vast experience with network administration and I can tell what happened just by observing the pattern of error messages we are getting upon login attempts: Two server techs were attempting a new sexual position in the server room, when one of their bungie cords snapped and knocked an entire gallon of chocolate ice cream into the login server.

    I'm just relieved to find out I am not the only one this has happened to...

    Last update was that it was only going to take a few minutes to rectify issue, not hours.
    However, its been 30plus minutes ......
    Im beginning to think it might take hours! Hmmmmm.

    Many - A large but indefinite number.

    by the way. it is still down and the log in screen says welcome instead of ACKNOWLEDGING THAT YOU CAN NOT LOG IN. Please communicate with your customers through the game rather than some arcane forum on a hard to use website. PLEASE no charge for the public relations advise and it is priceless.

    Xbox NA here, when I select the server it remains on the same black ESO screen with the word loading on the left side of the screen and never loads to the next artwork screen that usually appears before character selection.

    I hope you can fix it today as I'm off and looking to relax with some ESO.

    Well - I was in on the PTS server - but guess what - Hey *** - coffee and night out time I think.
    ^ cp 549 characters - best game ever playerd ( actually the ONLY game ever played so who am I to judge others).:D
