I can tell you I am not curious to try monkey pig cutlets. Especially after that dinner scene in Indiana Jones and farming the monkeys for meat in the game.

Rather like a sweet wine it apparently thought. Khajiit would prefer something with a little more kick.

Mead (/ˈmiːd/; archaic and dialectal "medd"; from Old English "medu"), is an alcoholic beverage created by fermenting honey with water, sometimes with various fruits, spices, grains, or hops. The alcoholic content ranges from about 8% ABV to more than 20%. The defining characteristic of mead is that the majority of the beverage's fermentable sugar is derived from honey. It may be still, carbonated, or naturally sparkling; dry, semi-sweet, or sweet. -Wikipedia page
I honestly wasn't sure if it was a real drink when I first heard of it (thanks video games), so I figured I'd see if it was, and apparently it is. It is a bit sickly sweet, as it is fermented honey, but it's quite nice

if you add anything to it it is called metheglin or melomel - depending on what you add.
a word of advice.... do not, under any circumstances, get drunk on mead. the hangover is terrible. probably why the nords are all so grumpy.
