How do I report a mild exploit?

Nothing huge, but I can get infinite loaves of crusty bread (6029), or so it seems. I did it 3 or 4 times, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Didn't want to do it any more than that.

Wow, when you said "mild" I had no idea just HOW mild...

I would open a ticket for a bug to let them know.

What in the heck are you going to do with 6029 loaves of crusty bread? Maybe line the walls of the upcoming player housing - I hear it provides as much as R-22 insulation.

Sorry, that was to say they are worth +6029 health. Obviously, it's not a big deal, but it just seems wrong. It's how I'm wired.

You cant report it, you will just get permabanned for doing it.

Lol. Good luck. They may actually pay attention and do something about that one, while continually ignoring the PvP breaking exploits.

While it may not seem like a big deal, if it can happen fast enough, players could and would get as much as possible and vendor it over and over again for gold.

If you're talking about logging out and back in again to reset containers, that's not an exploit, it's intended behavior and the value of the items you can acquire this way is low enough that you'd earn gold faster by doing pretty much anything else.

    I'm not talking about re-logging.

Step 1: take bread worth 6029 health.
    Step 2: enter delve
    Step 3: exit delve
    Step 4: take bread again
    Step 5: repeat ad infinitum

I suppose you could probably get 100 in an hour, for whatever that's worth.

Changing zones like that is the same as relogging. It's not an exploit. If the bread you take is worth an abnormal amount of gold then it's still probably not an exploit but a loophole that would be closed soon enough. I'm not sure why you keep quoting the health gain on the bread. The number you're looking at to see if this is unintended is the price you can sell it for.

The load screens to enter/exit a delve each time should be more then enough of a deterrent to not do this...no patch or bug report needed.

Most likely, which is why I said it's probably not a big deal. Nevertheless, I did factor in that load time for my calculation of 100/hr. 80 might be more realistic. I'm not saying it's worthy of reporting as an exploit. I cam here to ask the opinions of others, and the consensus is that it's not worthy. I'm fine with that.

crusty bread sells for 0 gold (last time i accidentally picked some up)

and to the OP the white food you find is nothing compared to the food that can be made, obvioulsy if its a continuously spawning crusty bread then report it as a bug, but if you are just finding lots of them in coldharbour for example it is not a but, theres just a lot of it... everywhere!

So, this isn't an exploit, and it's been in the game for a very long time.

Basically, every time you log out/change zones, it resets all of the items in your instance of the map, so you can reloot all of the containers, grab all of the weapons and food laying around, etc.

You used to be able to farm v14 crafting materials (back when they were the highest materials) by stealing weapons and armor from select locations (the Aegis of Auri-El being considered a very good choice). You would then decon all of the items, and it'd net you a huge amount of materials. They fixed it to where you only get 1 material from them now, instead of the 5-7 you used to get.

Anyways, the same thing happens with provisioning materials in barrels and stuff, so you can farm them easily by finding your favorite set of food barrels, looting them, then relogging, and repeating, and get a theoretically infinite number of foodstuffs.

It's not an exploit, so you don't have to worry.

Anyways, remember when Crusty Bread used to be Stale Bread?

I remember that stuff used to be my go too food for questing, because it was free and plentiful.

Now I just don't use food for questing.

Yeah, honestly I can't see this as being anything exploitable. It's not worth any gold, the health value is not off the chart or wrong ( like if it was 4512634578 health or something odd like that), and even if you spent the next 10 years collecting it you would come up with a big nothing to gain advantage.

In this case, I think you can have your bread and eat it too...

Thanks! That explains it. I figured it was something like that, I just didn't know if it's a "new" thing, or been around forever.
