So! What do you do in ESO to relax? Any funny stories? What have you called your pet or mount? :)

My masked bear is called Honey Badger. To relax in ESO, I craft, to relieve stress, I go beat up harpies...it's a long story.

you should share this story sounds funny. @ZOS_DaryaK

Generally I stay away from people when I dont feel well. By nature Im mostly a sacrastic ***, but when I dont feel good I usually go a little to far. So being alone with some quiet usually makes me feel better.

The only sort of funny ESO story i have recently, was a couple days ago. I went strolling around cyrodill. Not something i do a whole lot lately but i thought it had been a while so I would go see what was going on.

Anyway, Im wandering around by myself and i end up in a keep that is under attack by a sizeable force. Being a sneaky kitty i kill a couple people while hiding on the wall, but im the only one in the keep, so they take it with out much issue.

But they dont ever look around. So im still up on the second floor of the keep. After a couple minutes i start poking around. Not being all that good at pvp i really dont want to be in a keep by myself or involved in the kind of fights that would involve me being in an enemy keep. So i go looking for some afk players. Yeah Im that guy. After a couple minutes i find one and kill him. He moved right at the end, so i claimed the moral victory, of him not being afk the whole time!

Now im feeling pretty good about myself. I just owned some poor fella, and i start having delusions of grandeur, about how awesome i am. And about how i will make all the semi afk people in this keep fear me. I was very proud of myself.

Then I fell off the roof and got one shot by a the guards.

Cazzy, I don't know ya, but:

I also use this game as stress relief/escape/therapy proxy. What I've found, is it really helps to have a good guild, AND have multiple "goals" in game. That way, If I need to blow of steam or recover via some ESO, I have social as well as nonsocial actions.

Do I want to vent? I go run with guildies and vent. Do I need alone time? I solo PvP, farm mats, play Fashion Scrolls (dye station).

There's a nice gazebo in Marbruk (Greenshade) where you can hang out and listen to a bard sing and play, just have to kill the 1 hp screeching monkey that resets there every so often.

If PVP or doing dungeons has me stressed, I turn off the in game music, put on some music of my own and work on grinding an alt.

Or if nothing else, just going and farming mats and wandering wherever that leads me is nice, especially in Wrothgar or Hew's Bane.

    play Fashion Scrolls (dye station).

Oh dear gods yes... every character has different opinions on what they want to look like. I have two characters that I picture as very ... "presentation aware" (both in my universe are members of "The House of Dibella") and if I can't figure out what I want, I start pressing for random combos on the color scheme

If I like them, it was probably Mol gro Durga that suggested it.
If I don't like them, it was probably that dude who keeps overselling "adequate" bags at the Haversack in Vulkel Guard.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Start a new character, find some newbies in zone chat and run a Dungeon with them. It's like watching keystone cops. And side benefit you can run a whacky build an no one knows enough to even bat an eyelid, like Redguard Nightblade Healer, lmao.

The new meta.. Rolling one tonight.

All kidding aside, I am sorry for your loss, Cazzy. I hope things gets better. Its good sometimes to reach out to others
