Will everything in one tamriel be the same difficulty?

Hi guys I'm only 3 weeks into this game and REALLY like the format of 3 different campaigns and the way missions and zones are harder or easy depending on progress, I love going back to the early parts one shotting things as much as doing the harder parts and struggling through but reading the patchnotes it kind of sounds like everything will just be the same, is that correct?

Technically yes. But in reality no. There will be ups and downs as you level up and change gear and find the scaling doing odd things to you.

But over all you get more skils as you level and things become easier. And once you get so far you will be one or 2 hitting most normal mobs.

Sounds like a really silly thing to do but that's coming from a player who has no experience in mmos.

Open world pve with cp is a yawn fest any way. I think the new players are lucky to have this change. They can go to sooo many grind spors and just forever stay in one spot!!!

Ok something else if yous don't mind answering, as of now I'm 6 levels above my hardest quests so getting less xp for completing them, anyone think I should just do dungeons/pvp until the one tamriel update then do my quests to rank the champion point thing quicker?

It wouldnt surprise me if more and more mmos go some sort of scaling way. Developers look at leveling content and frown because once people out level something most people wont go back to it, so they see it as wasted content.

Really it is up to you. The quickest way to level and get cp is grinding. Im assuming it will be after the update again. So if you enjoy the quest and are going to do them anyway then sure grind out some levels and wait for the update. But if you are like me and like the quest but know you wont go back and do them if you dont have to I would stay with the quest.

Ok thanks, I think I may wait till one tamriel then do the quests because everything solo is getting super easy with me levelling too quicky doing 4 player dungeons (Which I love btw), maybe this scaling thing will be ok.

The experience should not be much different than it is now. A new player without cp will out level their gear probably as fast as they do now.

The scaling hurts when a players gear is much lower than their level so just keep more recent year slotted. It probably affects gear with set bonus more the plain gear.

Yes at a basic level it will.

likely for the "last three zones" of any alliance (a phrase soon to have little meaning) it will be mostly true.

Some obvious exceptions will be world bosses and some group content and select high end content like trials and arenas.

However, in reality it is not as true.

The early zones - starter and the first zone or two have threats setup for new players with new characters to encounter. That means the basic type of threat is not setup expecting all the following to be true:
The character has two bars of skills to swap between
The characater has many skills levelled to 50 with all desired passive in play.
The character has a wide variety of skills available including healing, debuffs, buffs and a variety of offenses
the character is using all set gear that coordinates well.

So in essence the "lower zones" have simpler threeats so even if they scale up to match your current level and cp, the number of enemies and the abilities they can draw on really dont change. The pairs of imps dont suddenly get CC immune just because you are cp100 instead of level 10.

So its still a LOT easier to take on lower level challenges scaled up to your level than to take on challenges at your level by design. Just now its at least in the ballpark.

you can still walk to the next zone(most of the time) and start doing quests around your level. then go back once one hits.
if you like pvp there is no reason not to spend all the time in bwb or azuras(where u should be with little to no cp)

I've actually ditched my level 35 tank and started again as a sorc only doing main quests instead of everything I come across for a more difficult experience.
