My favorite is Chillrend I just love the look and it seems like an item that could be useful outside of combat situations. If I'm in a desert just holding it should help keep me cool. since I hate the heat it is a match made in heaven. what are your favorite artifacts and why?

✭✭✭This is a cool topic, but a difficult choice. The Wabbajack is worth a couple of laughs but is it something you really want to use over and over? Dawnbreaker was quite enjoyable though. Mehrune's Razor is pretty good. Saoirse_Siobhan✭✭✭✭✭Sanguine Rose is one of my favourites. It's a shame there isn't some sort of quest where we meet Sanguine in ESO. At least we were able to have fun with the Wabbajack in ESO even if we didn't get to keep it.
EDIT: Plus it was pretty cool to have a Dremora fight alongside you

✭I'm not really sure it's an artifact, but I'm going to say Dawnfang/Duskfang.
If we are talking only stuff related to Daedric Princes, then I'd probably go with the Masque of Clavicus Vile. It's not really useful in combat situations, but comes in handy for things involving persuasion and bartering, plus it has a pretty grim backstory, which is what I like about the Clavicus Vile artifacts.2 -

✭As I played Morrowind and Oblivion just once, I don't remember the most important artifacts so, Skyrim and onwards:
Wabbajack! Hands down! The best artifact, too bad its story was a bit lame in Skyrim.
Sanguine's Rose! One of the funniest and most creative along all the quests and a very useful tool, specially if one wants to get all artifacts while at low levels, like the quest for Dawbreaker (ง •̀_•́)ง
Auriel's Bow! Without cinematic mods, I never liked using bows, until Auriel's Bow. Fire explosions with Sunhallowed arrows and a blood eclipse with Cursed ones... Awesome!
The Skeleton Key! Oblivion is much more enjoyable with it.
Aetherial Crown! Kind of ugly, but very useful. Sometimes I wish TBS was one piece too...
Miraak's Sword. Although I never used because I'm against upgrade artifacts/uniques, it has a nice design to worth mention.
Eye of Melka! I've caused so much trouble with it. Also died so many times when I used to have Erandur as follower (how an NPC can be THAT stupid?!)I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).

✭Waterbreathing potions made from Salmon Roe in Skyrim, and the way to aquire it from waterfalls' fishes, and the excessively long breathing effect underwater, and awesome prices for those potions when crafting maxed out.
