Thinking of making an alt

I want to make an alt. With my current character I had no plans. I use her for PvP currently. I was wondering what class has the best AoE spells. I'm torn between templer and DK. Can I get some advice and tips?
Feel free to add me. I'm part of the Gummy Guars PC/Mac NA server. Master crafter and working on getting 9 traits on everything

    mDK has great AoE. Talons, inhale, eruption, engulfing flames, standard. mDKs need a lot of help for PvP, but we do have good AoE

    Templar is easy mode sweeps, spear shards.

    1) Is the alt you're intending to make for PVP or PVE? (Or both)

    2) How do you enjoy playing ESO? (Range, Melee, Heal, Tank, Stealth, etc.)

    3) What weapons do you prefer using?

    4) Are you more of a solo or group person? (For PVP and/or PVE)

    5) What skills that are currently in the game do you find most fun to use?

    I'm intending just PvE. I do like stealth but my main is more for stealth since she completed DB and TG already :D I want to try and learn all skill lines for weapons but for the majority of the game (before I switched to magicka) I used DW and Bow. I prefer bow due to the ranged. I'm currently having trouble not feeling squishy. I PvP on my main with my guild and we do run PvE stuff together but for the purposes of leveling, everyone in the guild is far above me so I can't really level with them on a new toon. I really enjoy using skills that can do tons of damage from afar or have awesome AOE

    MagDK has nice AoE, then again, so does a Sorcerer and a Templar for that matter. Its the poor NB's that don't a lot of AoE to bring to the party.

    Although, running an Inhale/Impulse rotation is pretty much Perpetual Motion in a Public Dungeon with Trash Mobs. Throw in a few support skills and mobs will melt and you will never run low on resources.

    Personally, I would have an Alt in each class, just so you can have something to work with as the Classes get buffed and nerfed along the way. For example, my DK went from Awesome to Lousy to Awesome again just over the last 8 months or so.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Magdk is really good for pvp. Deep breath, eruption, flames, Talons, meteor, proxy, can actually make a lot of chaos as a magdk in pvp. Buff up, proxy on, breath into a little zerg, eruption down, flames on everyone, meteor on them, breath back to full health and repeat. Quite fun, use a lit staff too and zap everyone.
