Psijic Ambrosia Page Fragments

I did a search for information on the Psijic Ambrosia page fragments but did not see anything recent within the past 6 months. Are the page fragments still farmed from provisioning and does it matter what provisioning location you use? I've received one from Wrothgar but that was almost 6 months ago. Are any locations better than others?

I've sold the pieces I get, I have become lazy recently.

IwakuraLain42✭✭✭✭✭In all the time doing my provisioning writs I've only ever seen one drop. By now I'm pretty sure it's either bugged of they simply reduced the drop chance to something like 0.0001% to encourage people buying xp scrolls for crowns... :-/2 -

I have wondered if they nerfed the drop rate in the Dark Brotherhood patch. In the two months prior to that patch I had found 4 pieces. I haven't seen a single fragment since that patch on any of my characters. But it could just be bad luck, or bad karma as a result of all the murdering I've been doing since my introduction to the Dark Brotherhood.0 -

One every 16 days would make my total of four on two fully maxed crafters since psijic fragments started dropping extremely improbable! Not impossible, but highly unlikely.
Just shows how much I've angered the RNG gods
And comments like "I used to get them all the time but haven't seen one for a few weeks" don't help much either!

AntMan100673✭✭✭I ended up buying all the fragments, it was easier that way.
I then finally got my first fragment as a reward on my 80-something wrothgar writ and I think I've only got 1 or 2 more since. I respecced a while ago to do provisioning writs in my 2nd zone as I'm after some recipes so I doubt I'll be seeing another one any time soon.EU - EP - Dunmer - Dragonknight - Magicka DPS - CP160

✭I actually contacted support about this very thing. I figured the fragments were bugged on one of my characters after completing max level writs for many (MANY) months and never getting a single page to drop. No joke, but within a few days of contacting them I got my first page to drop from a writ (Wrothgar). I have not gotten any since, and it has been a few weeks now.
In the end, I said F it, and just bought the other 6 pages from guild traders. Perfect Roe is another thing that I swear is bugged on my main... hundreds of fish filleted, and I have only received ONE Prefect Roe. On a new character I got 3 from about 35 fish. Seeing this thread leads me to believe that there is an actual issue, or they have seriously nerfed the drop rate for Psijic fragments. Look at threads from a long time ago when they were first introduced, and you will see the drop rate was much better back then.Edited by Diminish on September 11, 2016 9:04PM2 -

I just wanted to update you on recent events regarding my personal life and the Psijic Ambrosia Fragment Pages.
Last night at 8:24 (Eastern Standard Time) I received my second Psijic Ambrosia Fragment Page.....which happens to be the identical to the first one that I received six months ago. I now have two Psijic Ambrosia Fragment Page III's.

✭✭✭I thought about collecting them, then I spotted someone listed the full recipe for 60k. On the PS4, that's cheap and it would have been rude not to have bought it. No idea what they go for on PC etc. All i know is the drop rate for these pages is ridiculous. The chance to get these increases with the level of the Writ Reward. I have gotten 3 Chapters on a Mule doing L3 Writs, one on an L2, but most come from L6 Writs. I just got one last night in Belkarth.
I have been able to make 7 of the Ambrosia Recipes since this released, and I do provisioning writs on 8 characters each day, well, 7 each day. One of my mules likes to wander around and I can't get him to stick to the program. Anyway, I do 4 top end, and 4 some other level, which right now is 1 L2 and 3 L3.
