Monster sets - making Tamrielians ugly since 2014...

With the introduction of even more ugly monster sets - we appreciate the ability to hide the head armors - but Zenimax could we also please have an option to hide shoulders too?? Pretty much ALL the new ones look ugly as heck. They are nearly all massive and for those of us that enjoy the role-playing - it's getting harder to play a character that looks, well... like a *** bag that did a half-bothered job to recreate a 1980s Joan Collins' style shoulder padding in a medieval version of Dynasty.

PLEASE restore some dignity back to our characters. We implore you!!

The undaunted are a bunch of psychopaths who hack off body parts of the monsters they kill, and wear as armor. It's supposed to look ridiculous.

Just look at the Maw. Decapitated daedroth head with the snout sewn shut over your own.

It is hard to sell costumes if you can make your character appealing without them.

How the heck did they shrink? Those monsters are like 3 stories tall. I refuse to believe monster sets are literally made from the monster

Well now that 2 5-piece sets are an alternative, if not BiS for some classes, Monster sets aren't really mandatory anymore. Just craft your own set. We have lots of motifs and craftable sets to choose from.

I really like the monster sets, some of them look real nice. However, the option to hide shoulders or even other parts of EQ is always welcome.

I didn't spend hours upon hours (and gold) getting motifs to craft my own look - to go cover it up with a costume. Would be cool if we could "save" our own creations as costumes to a wardrobe though...

But seriously... monster helms you kinda need to have for the bonuses - but again, ugly as heck...

Never heard of shrunken heads? Remove the skull and use a hair dryer.

How it works for a dwemer head I'm Not so sure. EG doest even have a head per day, always wondered on that one.

What we need is restyling option of items, so you can switch anything (even those hugely ugly Undaunted monster sets) into any motif you have learned.

Funny thing is 97 % of these players want restyling already. I can only imagine ZOS not adding the option because they want to sell even more of their inferior costumes.

It's hillarious that you can't even put together a set of equipment on your character that looks fine, without resorting to costumes. In between Undaunted monster sets, which are pretty much required, Undaunted passive that requires you to mix heavy, medium and light, and the fact that lacking jewelcrafting means you'll have to wear dropped sets much of the time, your character will most likely end up like some kind of patchwork warrior wearing a mismatched set of armour.

Good job ZOS, really good job ..

Did they make something with the monster sets??? I stopped playing many months ago because i was totally pissed that im forced to wear these disgusting sets for their stats and i cant change their looks or anything. Please tell me if they saw this POLL from that post and done something about the issue with the monster sets-transmog of items or something

"it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days." - Matt Firor
