Dark Brotherhood Motif Drop Rates?

Does anyone have an idea, as to how many Sacrament quests I have to do to get the DB Chest motif? Or, is it completely random? Any help/advice would be appreciated!

If you complete a perfect sacrament (ie. you kill the target and complete every secondary objective) you're almost guaranteed to get a page. Not always, but the majority of the time you'll get a page. It's total RNG as to which page you get though, so if you're going for one specific page it could take a lot of sacraments to get it.

Yeah that's what I figured. I had like 3 "Perfect Sacraments" in a row without getting any motifs. Any idea as to what the actual reset time is for Sacrament quests? I know it says once a day but is it like 8 hour cool down, 24 hours?

Are chest less likely?

I noticed when I finally gave up on doing writs for Glass fragments and just went to buy pages that Glass chests were about 12K more expensive than the next most expensive piece. Is this just highest demand, or is there a supply issue there as well? (Cause I have to admit, with the RNG for getting a frag in the first place and the number of frags needed for a page, if there was an actual different rate for different pages, I would find that quite unjustifiable. And I'm sure I'd feel the same about DB if I were pursuing it.)

I'm not 100% sure of that's the case. I just seem to see less of the DB Chest motifs or, really any chest motifs, at any guild traders. However, I see a ton of every other motif. Which made me curious if there were different rates for different pages as well.

I'm pretty sure it's just that they're more in demand. People are less likely to want to craft helms and shoulders in a particular style because often monster helms/shoulders will be preferred, and they're less likely to care about belts, shoes, and gloves because they're less noticeable. Legs are usually almost as expensive as chests in my experience, but chests are the piece that's most noticeable on a character, so that page always seems to be the most expensive of any motif.

Not the case for me. I can get perfect on 5 different toons and get squat.

I had my own issue with RNG the other night. Instead of the Dark Brotherhood I had been trying to farm the Assassin's League chapters off the Delve bosses. Hours upon hours. In Hrota cave especially I was SPECIFICALLY looking for a Chests chapter to drop. Out of three nights of farming I got 1 Boots, 2 Maces, 2 Bows, and just last night 3 Swords back to back.

After that I gave in, went to Wayrest and bought the Chapter for 30k off a Trader. Now I have a butt load of stealing to do to recoop my losses.

I assume it's like this with every Motif that drops in this fashion.

By far the worst for me have been the Ancient Orc ones. It doesn't really bother me, because I don't even want them, but I've spent a crazy amount of time in those Wrothgar dungeons, etc without ever getting a single one of any type ever.

Same here. I haven't got one yet.

I've done probably around 100 perfect sacraments (maybe a few more, maybe a few less) on my different characters (while I was farming the motif for myself I was doing 9 perfect sacraments per day), and I definitely got more than 70 motif pages from them, because I got enough to learn the entire motif myself and completely fill all of my slots in 2 guild stores.
