Stam DK Dunmer (dark elf) setup?

I'd like to try my hand with a Stam DK setup for PVP and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Could this possibly work:

5PC Coat of the Red Mountain (3 jewelry, 1 armor piece, 1 Greatsword/Bow)
5PC Hundings Rage (Impen)
1PC Velidreth or Kena

Conversely, for PVE, I was thinking of:
5PC Coat of the Red Mountain (5 armor)
5PC Way of the Fire (3 jewelry, 2 daggers) - This set is damn near Red Mountain... but has a 20% chance for flame damage! (when the new patch comes out)
2PC Valkyn or Velidreth

I have maximum CP, so I'd put 30 pts into Elemental Expert and ALL the rest into Mighty, Thaumaturge, and Precise strikes.
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

    Firstly, I would say, unlike what few people like to defend, Red Mountain is no where near the standard of TBS, NMG or some of the new sets coming next patch. Velidreth is not too good for PvE DPS, as it is pretty unpredictable and often misses due to terrain. Valkyn Skoria is great though and is getting buffed next patch, but the physical penetration monster set they introduced is a downright gamechanger for melee stamina DPS. Then, well the last spots are fixed for Stamina DPS. You will need to run 3 pc Vicious Ophidian and vMA weapons, 5 pc Way of the fire doesn't even compare.

    Stam DK;

    I would replace he 5 Hundings with 5 Night Mothers or in the case of a DK 5 Morag Tong. You get almost 260 weapon damage the same stamina bonus and loose crit chance which it not a game changer in PVP.

    As far as PVE I like Red Mountain paired with Viper and Skoria.

    I'm not the fanboy for Velidreth most people are I like it and it hits really hard but it misses; often and the cooldown after a miss is killer. Quite honestly the best change they could make to Velidreth is make the cool down conditional on actually damaging a target. In other works it the disease orbs expire without hitting anything it immediately comes off cooldown.

    But as pointed out above Vicious Opidian is currently BiS and the resources it returns is amazing on the five piece any three piece that gives minor slayer is a must have for dungeons and trials.
