I can now switch to the NBN (wired) and would like to know if there any other fellow Australians who have done so and noticed any change in response times, Lag, etc.in the game?
My current speeds are not that bad but I think I still get about a 300 ping rate and am curious to know if anyone has made the change and noticed an improvement or not.

✭Yup. I am on fibre to the home NBN, 100/40 plan... no difference from Optus cable i was on before this
Ping is still 250-300ms if it's a good day... 500+ on a bad day.
(edit) I regularly play with some of the local guys that are on Optus Cable & Telsta cable & they report similar pings to my own. ✭I am in suburban Melbourne (was termed "outer" but I guess with the ever-expanding city we're not quite as outer as we were when we moved here. Anyway, 30km from the city centre). A new housing estate 2km away technically in the same suburb has NBN but where I live isn't slated to get NBN until 2019 last I checked. By which time it will be obsolete anyway.

✭✭Looks like I won't see much change. My speed is already between 13 and 15 mbps most of the time, which is actually higher than the starting speed for some NBN plans.Australian on PS4 NA server.
