2. Yesterday wasn't a maintenance, it was a EU server blackout.. If u could read, the maintenance yday was for Xbox (I'd be annoyed being on Xbox n having 2days maintenance)
3. If u guys actually went to the right page, it clearly tells u that the maintenance will be approximately 8hrs n they let us know if anything changes.

Wtf again?! Second day in a row?! Do you think about players, zos, especially about those who has subscribe? As I can see you do not. It's really frustrating, I think I'm gonna cancel subscription if this happens again. Players do not usually care what kind of problems you have again. You know when I come home from studies I wanna play not read "oh sorry it's unplanned maintenance today. why? because we can". And I have to play Dota or something else, very nice, thanks!

I would love to ditch ESO for another good fantasy MMO on XBOX One... but what "next big game is coming" are you talking about? As it stand now, ESO is the only true Fantasy MMO I can play as I only have my XBOX One and a laptop that seems to be falling apart

I am also in the camp that is very frustrated right now as I mostly only get to play in the mornings and to top it off the Scourge campaign is coming to an end so there is no chance to help my faction out or improve my status on the leader boards.

totally accept all that. As I said the maintenance while im at work 9-5 suits me well but I appreciate not everyone is in the same boat.

I would hope that there is some kind of log as to the least populated time which is when they plan the maintenance. if they just shut the servers irrespective, then its a bit mean

Everyone gets maintenence in Europe again today.

Those are the facts. Today's was announced very very last minute. You clearly came to the forums ill informed.

@Suter1972 I think the problem is not the timing of the maintenance but the fact that this is not a normal maintenance.
No mmo I've ever played had maintenances lasting 8 or even 12 hours, it's usually like 4 hours, and none had three maintenances in a row. And having more of them in a row is becoming standard for ESO.

Yes, I am not surprised by this because those people are so large they can offer very good rates for datacentre hosting, due to economies of scale .

So they don't really care how much they *** us off. And if we keep buying, we foster that mentality. e.g. I just came back after a year and bought a 6 month sub. If I'd known things had got this bad with ZOS support I'd have gone free to play, I really should have checked the forums first.

Well, from personal experience I can assure you that switching a main-mainboard in an E10000 took a bit of time.

But you're right - that's IT from the early 2000s -- nowadays you split taks into smaller applications and put those on virtual servers and instance as many of them as needed and you only pay on a per-use/per-hour base which makes a infrastrcture that uses 2 instances on idle and 10 instances on peak cheaper than a permanent 5 or 6 instance solution. which would have been the classic approach.

But, alas, I fear that ZOS is completly unaware of such architectures and approached ESO with a lot more enthusiasm than experience ...

I can miss those 2 like a headache..
With that anoying giggling when they are adressing very anoying bugs on eso live....
They are not of much use to us Europeans anyway since most if the time they are happily at sleep when our (eu) server is down.

Then just do it right first time. What most likely happened was the core staff shift ended and they had to reschedule. A proper firm again would ensure anything can be fixed anytime.

once police asked not to inform on social media where actions take place if you see them preparing; as a reaction tons of photo's of cats were posted on facebook and twitter. Now every time a big action takes place.... the cats are back...
