Velidreth is a skillless build which procs for over 6k, dumbing down the game into gap closer, light attack, veldreth proc , ability into execute. These velidtreth disease builds can kill someone in under 2 seconds of "RNG". Make it 10% or reduce the dmg.

Not enough console xbox players have it so I don't see it often.

Have ran into the exact build and it rekted me.

However I do not see how it is any different than many gank builds, or burst builds I've faced.

There are several different sets and combos that melt faces like this set.

I hear tell that new dune ripper monster helm is just as, if not more, sick nasty than veli

I'd rather not have sets that proc damage at all. Sets that give the opportunity to do more damage are fine, but there's no skill in an armor combo hitting for 6-7k.

Yes it is completely overpowered especially combined with other proc-sets like viper, red mountain or widowmaker.
I tested the Viper-Velidreth-Widowmaker Combo and created a video. All of the kills are from 2 days of pvp. 50k Alliance Points per hour solo.

so you can gank heavy armour players with over 30k HP and shuffle on in 1 second without proc sets? Show me! With this sets i can gank every target. I Killed a 50k HP Blazing Shield Tank in 2 seconds yesterday lol

Edit: have you seen the whole video ? There are also a few 1vsX and 1vs1 situations. This sets do not only work for gankers

I think the set needs half the damage but half the cooldown. The burst is to high currently but i dont want to hinder the pve dps of the set. I think going this route makes the most sense.

Pretty sure ZOS knows about this issue though.

- It's not balanced because it amplifies the burst and stamina metas.
- It's not balanced due to missing correlation with character stats, contributing to eliminating weaknesses of certain builds (for example tanky builds with high burst damage), which makes decisions feel less meaningful.
- It's not balanced because of the lack of counter options, most importantly "dodging" (sidestepping) the procs, which sadly doesn't work most of the time as the middle proc usually already hits the moment it appears. This decreases the importance of skill during combat and makes players feel frustrated.

Your poll is still horrible though.

So many bursters running this with Viper's Sting. I've seen many PUGs get killed with only Crit Rush > LA > Execute.

Veli + Viper + Widow is possibly the most ridiculous combo of sets this game has seen to date. With all 3 proc'ing on a target there's absolutely nothing the person can do. No amount of skill, defensive abilities or heals will save the player.

With that said, Veli itself is fine. It's the possible set combinations that make it seem OP. If you're using the Veli + Viper + Widow combo and you get no procs your damage is quite laughable. Yet with the insanely high proc rates it's very unlikely to not get a good proc burst.

Just want to mention this set is nothing like Velidrith. There is a very large delay when this "primal spirit" (its a polar bear) does its actual attack. Its very easy to avoid with just regular movement.

This set is really good for stam dps with stationary targets. Its not that good in pvp situations in my opinion.

Velidrith's proc has no delay. Its very hard to avoid unless your some distance away from your target.

I believe Velidrith even with all the new monster sets, is still the best for burst pvp dps. Its got a nice proc rate, has AoE potenail and hits hard.

The new taunt monster set is broken in 1v1's. Unavoidable and hits pretty hard.

any well built DPS will hit beetwen 6-9k PER TARGET. Just check the tooltip and compare it to the tooltip of an ultimate ....

And i'm not even counting full glass cannon builds, my alchemist ganking build can probably hit 12k crits with velidreth.
