Is Viper nerfed for next major update?

I saw on some website the listing of all sets and their bonuses, that the viper set displayed some 6000ish dmg, im fairly sure the tooltip on gold quality on live is 7999. Can anyone confirm? thx

    Only change was a bug fix, it is now mitigated by physical resistance instead of spell resistance (which is technically a buff since it's easier to stack spell resist).
    Viper’s Sting: Fixed an issue where this item set’s Poison Damage proc was being mitigated based on the target’s Spell Resistance instead of their Physical Resistance.
